Hello and welcome to the results page.

It's been a very hard race for the drivers as they went to the coast of Amalfi were the warm-up round took place, it was needed though as the drivers were almost sleeping on the track, but soon enough they woke up, especially the Super-GT drivers.

In the Super-GT class, the battle took place between 2 drivers who are driven power monsters. The third driver in this class, ICallShotGun, didn't enter the race, reason why is unknown. The battle in this class is between a Nissan and a Toyota, the Nissan driver comes up with a LM-GTP road car , the R390 GT1,while the Toyota driver comes up with Toyota's sportscar, the Supra. Both have around 900 HP, producing massive torque. Ebiggs was convinced his Nissan would blow the Toyota on seconds but he was wrong. As Ebiggs drove a time of 1'41.878, the Supra crossed the line in 1'42.366. A very small difference yet a very good time by Pink as it's supercar vs. sportscar. That means Ebiggs takes the victory in the Super-GT class with just 0.5 seconds.

Ebiggs can now prepare himself of what is yet to come, a battle between 900 HP 👍

In the GT1 class, the battle was faught between a Chevy Corvette Z06, a TVR and a Viper. All of them are really powerful, but only one can win and that's George Morley! He crossed the finish line in 1'48.7, only 1.244 sec. faster then Ebiggs, who did a 1'49.844 in his Covette. ICallShotGun placed his Viper into third with a time of 1'53.935.

In the GT2 class, the battle took place between ICallShotGun and Ebiggs, Ebiggs is driving a BMW M3 CSL, a very fast car, with which he won this race. He crossed the finish line in 1'57.530 while ICSG came in at 2'02.124

To the GT3 class then; Ebiggs also won this class, with convincing results. He drove a lap time of 2'03.XXX, PTF came in second with a time of 2'06.XXX, Casio is third finishing just a second behing PTF's Supra and ICSG is fourth with a time of 2'12.XXX. Clearly Ebiggs has a world of advantage in this class.

And finally we move on to, perhaps the most interesting class, the Classic Car class. Not Ebiggs won this class, but ICSG, he drove a lap of 2'09.XXX which is 4 seconds faster then Ebiggs' Fairlady 280-Z.

All drivers can go into their pitbox and experiment with their cars.

Opinions by Pink and Ebiggs:

Ebiggs:

"My Classic entry, the 280Z, felt perfect here. A bit of oversteer here and there but only on throttle and very easy to correct. It also felt a litle short on power on the steep uphill."

"My GT3 Motorsport Elise was also a pretty straightforward drive. It will only oversteer if provoked, but you have to remember to brake much earlier than the 280Z because of the huge difference in speed. The Elise is around 400Kg lighter with only 20 less horsepower."

"The M3 CSL (GT2) is probably my favorite of the bunch. Very neutral handling with plenty of oversteer available with a prod of the right foot. The S3s shortened braking distances to be even less than the Elise's."

"What better car for a GT1 class than a Corvette? Surprisingly with 600hp and a supercharger it gets zero wheelspin besides the final tight hairpins. Easiest car to drive by far thanks to the racing tires."

"The R390 GT1 is the fastest road car when fully tuned thanks to being a homologation model for the racing version. Nearly 900 horsepower, 1000kg, R5 tires and a ton of downforce makes this car extremely fast, but also very hard to drive, at least on Amalfi. I had to break hard at every jump to keep it stable. There is no torque below 3500rpm, so the final hairpins are crawled through in third gear. Second would be the same result, but then the revs jump to the rev limiter once the turbo kicks in. This time wasn't a good representation of this car's speed, and it may have trouble at El Capitan too.

"I got owned in both classes I'm in but not that much, I think I can give the R390 some good competition and if I do some about the aerodynamics on my GT3 Supra, I may get closer to the Elise"

With Super GT times like that, I'm scared I did crap :(:(

Ah, but to be fair Pink, you know how hard it is to drive a car like mine on Amalfi and keep it going the right direction? :nervous: That was maybe 80% of what it could do. Driver limited.

I had a 1'31 in the R390. Although it was slightly dirty.

That's darn fast, I did 100% in the Supra, it's so crazy on this track, on the strait it just blasts 300 km/h

I hit 180mph on the straight, whatever that is in your silly metric system. ;)

P.S. How about some results?

Near enough to 300km/h. I think 182mph is 300km/h.

PS. How about some results ;)

I hit 135mph (redline limited) on the straights :(

Jesus. The Motor Sport Elise is quick. Stretching the rules a bit too. I wanted to use it for the 2WD WRC Championship (Road Car Only) and it was not allowed.

How much downforce does it have? Same thime goes with the R390 in Super-GT. It has 70/85 Downforce or something, while the rest only have 30/30.

I think the Elise has 30/35 downforce. It could have been faster if I went for the turbo instead of NA and got more torque out of it. ;)

I decided to miss this because quite simply the Amuse can't go round that track competitively, I will be at round 1 for sure. ;)

Well, to be honest, I'm unsure about the Motorsport Elise, not all parts you buy with it are stock, I don't know...

If you were in my class, you would be up against a TVR, Corvette and Viper.
It's not like Dodge Vipers are amazingly fast around thin tracks ;)

Actually, they are.

The R390 has a few racing parts stock, no engine parts besides nitrous are available, and the only available transmission parts are the FC and LSD.

The rule says no racing, rally, or concept cars. The R390 is a street legal road car. The Elise is a road car in the game, in real life it plays the same role as the Ferrari FXX.

A HUGE mistake has been made: George doesn't run in the GT1 class but in the GT2 class, HOWEVER:

1'48.7, that lap was on R5's, now he brings up his real time with S2's: 1'51.XXX

That's kinda strange George...

Four out of five ain't bad! Guess I could have gotten a muscle car and killed everyone in the Classic class. :p

Edit: Hm...He was six seconds faster than me in GT2? I'd like some power, torque, and weight figures. There should be more than three seconds different between R5s and S2s.

Edit2: T350C stats:

Tuned HP 555 @ 7,200 rpm
Tuned Torque 428.26 @ 5,750 rpm
Tuned Weight 1,044 kg // 2,297 lb
Tuned P/W Ratio 1.881

M3 CSL stats:

Tuned HP 524 @ 7,900 rpm
Tuned Torque 379.08 @ 4,900 rpm
Tuned Weight 1,177 kg // 2,589 lb
Tuned P/W Ratio 2.246

Of course, they aren't running completely tuned, which these stats are, but aren't too far off at 500hp. The TVR has quite a bit more torque and is a little lighter, but it isn't really enough to convince me that it is six seconds faster.

So does the GT2 time get used? It was past the deadline anyways.

Also, when does the next round start?

Well, now he says he ran 1'56, I dunno what he's up to, he also didn't send a verification picture which leaves us nowere.

Next round will not start untill this is sorted out...

I say drop his time completely for this round considering a) it doesn't count for anything and b) he has given you two false times now, and the third just happens to be a second ahead of my time.

Well count me out then . . . .

EDIT - Yep I'm outta this thing.

I'm w/ Bigg's, let's go then. I like this, and w/ 5 cars, I wan to get to racing them.

Besides, it's a practice round, nothing really counts. Don't take it too personal George.

But if you want to quit, then ses la vie

I'd like to take this time to give a personal "Thank You!" to George Morley for putting a stop to a fun race series.

I'll keep it going if you guys are still interested? Was looking to be a good and interesting series.

I'm down. I have 5 cars that i REALLY enjoy driving, short track or long (preferably long in the supra!) Lets go please, screw morley

Ok, I thought that you abandoned us. You should have dropped us a note. ;)

*AHEM!* Pink!!! It has been over a minute. :P

Double post of course...Two days apart.

Edit: 49 hours actually.
