07 rx8 S or 06 focus st?

simply put, at the moment im currently looking for a dirt/snow 2wd car, and these two seem to be my prime choices. both are very fun rides, but im wondering which people seem to prefer, and opinions on which one would be better to mod and soup up (real professional terms xD) in case i wanted a nice track car or a sort of rally supercar xD and of course, other opinions on other cars is always welcome :)
 
It's weird you would consider rx8 for rally.

Why not consider evos? Wrx?
 
i have plenty of evos, wrx, a c4 and focus. but the thing is, while i absolutely love my 4wd rally beasts, im looking for a cheap 2wd rally car and well, an unusual one. xD
 
Focus is the one man. Is there an RS version? If have, get that. I'll chose it over an ST.
 
Well, you may have to go with the Focus. The RX-8 would be a bit tailhappy, being an FR.
 
I would choose the Focus. The RX8 may step out just a bit too much.

The RS is quite good but the ST's premium :)
 
I think the Forcus would work better as a rally car being FWD.
 
my favorite is the RS200... but of those two the Ford
 
RX-8 would be more fun.

But the Lancia Stratos would be even more fun ;)
 
haha thanks guys :) yea, i took em both out for a spin and while the rx8 is a helluva lot more fun to drive and takes more work to run, the focus is still great fun and pulls better times. thanks guys ;) keep em coming if ud like :D
