1.08 update progression glitch

I know im late but right after i downloaded the 1.08 update i started the game and the intro cutscene started rolling and after that i was prompted to finish a music rally. Only after that was i given the option to enter the world map only to be greeted with the sight of the empty world map. I only had the used car dealership, gt cafe(i only had the menu books that i finished, and i couldnt enter new ones) and my garage(which had all my cars from my last save) . After i fiddled around a little i was able to unlock the world circuits and scapes but i couldnt even enter the world circuits nor the gt cafe. Im wondering if any of you have the same glitch and did you contact Playstation support, and if so did they manage to fix this.

This happened to me too, you’re not alone. The showcase is unlocked for me, but I cannot enter Scapes. Also, did your collector levels completely reset, too?

Yes it did. Hope poliphony adresses this issue.
