1.09 Install unsuccessful? (SOLVED)

"An error occurred during installation" - GT6 is telling me.
The 5-600MB update downloaded just fine, but the in-game installation has failed around 5 times now.

Help?

I've tried:
- Restarting PS3 and WiFi
- Signing out and starting GT6 (Tries to install even if offline)
 
Well, it happened once when I was installing the updates 1.07 and 1.08 but I tried installing again and it worked for the 2nd time. Using an cable is much better than using an WiFi.
 
I actually had this same problem with 1.08.

I solved it by deleting the game's installed data and then just re-downloading and re-installing all of the previous updates. It took a while, but it did work.
