Ok, as much as I love my 1/18th model cars, I've turned to collecting bigger models. Such as 1/12th. These are much bigger than 1/18th scale and a have a much higher cost.

Currently I own 6, buying my 6th last night from AutoArt.

AutoArt doesn't seem to have many, and scalecars.com doesn't carry the 1/12th scale.

So, if anyone can direct me to a site(s) that sells 1/12th scale cars, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
McLaren F1GTR.

sportcraft is a nice shop. I have purchased some cars from them. Couldn't have been nicer people. I even wrote them a letter after all was over telling them how good of a job they did and that i was a satisfied customer.

When are they gonna be coming out with the 1/1 diecast cars :sly:

That would be uber cool :p lol

Uhh...... Technically, They've been out since Henry Ford started using mass-production in the 1900's.

So...... 97 years ago. If you count the Model T as the first mass-produced automobile, which began production in 1908.

So, I have an incomplete Die cast 1:1 scale 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne. It has honking horn, working signals, and a real running and driving engine too! It even has room for at least 6 1:1 scale humans, too! (Gas, oil, battery and human figures not included)

Hobby Link Japan

They only sell Japanese kits, and sometimes with only Japanese instructions, because they take orders and send guys out to shop, pack it up and ship it. Way cheaper than local US shops, though. I have many of the Tamiya F-1 kits, along with a couple of their 1/12 full-bodied cars under construction. Gotta dig up some pics now. . . .
