Okay I got GT5 Prologue today (UK). I installed it, updated it and looked at the file size on my PS3..........

............ 6GB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Weren't we told that the game was only going to take up 1.5GB? Who were they kidding? My 40GB PS3 is not happy :grumpy: I imagine that the full GT5 game will take up all my HDD space LOL I really don't want to have to upgrade my HDD.

Anyone else have this HUGE install or is it just me?

If I got GT5 Prologue PAL, I don't think I would complain about its unpacked size ^^
 
do you still need the disc in to play once installed?

And also they did say that it would be on 6 GB and the PS: Store version would be 1.8 or somethin'

If N4G is to go by, every GT thread gets spamed up with Haters of the game (which are mainly those who are unable to play it)
 
I love GT5 Prologue and now im in love with it even more because the EU version is downloading :)

LONG LIVE Gran Turismo (Ill play Gran Turismo games till I am too old and cant move anymore LOL)

By the way the download is closer to 1.9gb than 1.5
 
It is very amateuristic to have the game on disc...only to see it installs everything on hard drive, including videos you can't even watch yet and you need the disc anyway.

Goldrusher, there are millions of people who live in rural parts of the world with little or no high speed internet access, is this amatueristic?
