I was just curious today so i decided to check out my first few 100 posts (i guess it's because i forgot to celebrate my 1 year anniversary on Januray 18th). Most of them are in the HMRCWG.

Anyway, from seeing your old posts, how have you changed? What was a memorable moment for you? Who do you miss?

I remembered being pretty damn naive, but thinking i was mature for my age. Maybe 5 years from now i'll think the self of myself now.

I remember having a great time talking with everyone in that damn HMRCWG thread, and going on smiley crazes in Noc's "Poo Edition" thread. :D

I don't like to be nostalgic, but it doesn't hurt to be sometimes. :)

No I don't.

I Remember my posts from a year ago and they are embarassing.

Far too many one word replies, not near enough content.

They suck.

*Edit - I just realised, not too much has really changed in that regard

I remember most of my first posts were in the GT3 forum, but now that I've pretty much schooled that game I hang out in the PS2 forum and here.

When i take a look at my old posts, it seems that i started out with good grammar, then it seemed like i got lazy and started abbr. words.

Then one day i actually read one of my bad grammar posts and said to myself, wow i sound like an idiot. So from there on in, i try to post with good grammar.

Since I havent been a member here for a year, Ill still comment.:p

Anyways, I looked at my oldest posts Starting @ 1-19-03. I noticed I had terrible grammar and I thought to myself and said, "wow. havent I come a long way."

I have before. I think my first post dealt with a Miata.

Next month will be my one year anniversary. I have matured a little, as with a few people that posted around there too. I still have some habits, like having a bad temper with a short fuse, and putting a run on at the end of my sentences (the three dots).

I first posted in the GT3 forum. I rarely go there anymore, as most of the time there are just the same arguments, and just alot of stress. Havent been there for months.

I mostly go to the Hybrids forum, automotive forums, photoshops, and here...

My post quality has gone downhill. It's depressing. So quickly do the great fall, and the humble never rise to prominence.

Did I really just make that up, or did I steal it from somewhere without realizing it?

Yea, I do look back, but for some daft reason I spent over a year virtually exclusively in the GT2 forum :dopey:

Dont ask me why. Im just miffed that I missed a year of Rumble Stripping (hmmm..that came out wrong)...

Aww yes the Poo Edition. Those were the days......:p

I have checked my first 100 posts or so on a number of occasions. Alot of them were in the HMRCWG thread too. I remember that I use to post alot in the GT3 forum. Now I hardly post there. I'm so waiting for GT4 to get me back into the GT forums.

I feel that I have changed in some way. Dont spam anymore. Cant remember the last time I did. I wish I could remember a memorable moment but nothing is coming to mind. I know there was one but its just not ringing a bell. I think the person I miss the most is Jess. I hardly ever see her on here anymore. :(

I thought about going through my 13714 posts...

I gave up after the 5th one.

hehe remember that silly post race we all kindof had going on for who would reach 10,000 post first? I remembered when "at one point" was ranked 2nd for all time poster. Cant remember who was first... No wait i think i can, wasnt it Josh?

Ive been here for a bit over a year, yet I am still pretty much a lurker, I only speak when I feel like it. Its nice, and this is a really cool community with great people. Im not a big fan of all the drifters that started showing up, but it was bound to happen eventually. I never look back at my first few posts, or past posts for that matter. I still have less than 500 :D

Ah yes. The days of not properly punctuating sentences, purposely making spelling mistakes and being a member of many, many clubs in a bid to raise my post count. Oh how much has changed since then...

I do believe Josh's been there forever or something... He was when i registered, and he still is.

I was very bored at work one day last year (no boss, no delivery, not much of anything to do...) so I checked out all the posts with my name on them in both GTP (and the GTF). I brought back som old times...I sort of wish the avatars could stay behind from those days, though.

Searching for my user name generally pulls them all up, no problems at all. Usually I keeop track of the replies to my posts, but some people had some funny responces (and unitelligible ones, too). Not much has changed in my style of typing because I almost always used grammar and spelled out words, and rarely spammed.

I've not gone back in a while. I'd like to believe that I'm more circumspect in my posting.
I do still have my occasional rant...

Well, for me, most of it from about 120-200 was me spamming to try and make 200 posts so I could get my own avatar. the rest was conversation with people, and a good bit of it was in HMRCWG (there's a link to it in my sig...)

Agreed! 👍

I've gone back some and I'm not much different than I am now, with the occasional exception of myself, slip2rock and Dudebusta going off topic.

Ahh, good times, gooood tiiimes. :)
