10+1 Interesting Things About The New GT6 Car List.....

Pay attention to the new GT6 car list. Here's something I pointed out.....

1. Bad news.... There's is NO new (2008) WRC cars and also ferrari F1's

2. They seems to make the 2005 Ford GT premium. Problem is that we have already got one....2006 to be exact.

3. The LMP, GT500, and GT300 cars you've seen in GT5 has its own base model. (And also some more cars)

5. It has Diablo GT and GT2.....but no SV.

6. It also has quattro S1 rally and pikes peak. As far as I know both do have differences. (One has 300 HP the other has 450 HP)

7. What's with the different version of KTM X-Bow and SRT Viper GTS?

8. And also the 2 years of Huayra. ('11 and '13)

9. Good lord the lunar rover.....

10. Hyundai Accent Rally Car and 1937 Auto Union Streamline (!) is back :)

11. What is Hyundai Click Type-R? Some says it appears in GT4 but I never see one.

Ex: You can now buy stealth and chromeline cars for more credits than normal.

More ex: Deltawing is dead! Somebody save him!

That's just PD still trying to ramp up the car list. We had two versions of the Suzuki Swift and Cappuccino in GT5 even though the only differences were internal.
 
I think the car list is a bit confusing. For instance cars labeled with 6 "indicates that the car is appearing for the first time in the series."

One car with this distinction is the Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (C2) '63, but that car was in GT5 so the notation is incorrect.
 
In general, I'm happy with the new list. 2008 WRC cars that, even though the championship was exciting, isn't "real" rally cars vs. "The lost child" aka Hyundai Accent? I'm happy either way! The Ferrari F1 is a minor loss, but a top-quality Formula Gran Turismo and we would hardly notice their absence.
The "Base Model"s are possibly there to allow series to use these cars without running 3 identical cars, and that's a good thing 👍
The "unknown" text is unknown, obviously.
I did get slightly disappointed when I saw there will be a Diablo GT and a GT2, yet no SV.. At least that means they haven't forgotten about classic Lamborghini.
Small correction on the Audis: both had 450 hp or, more likely, more, rumours were around 550. Group B, nuff said.
As for the year differences, if there is any major change in behaviour or visuals, it's a justified move imo

It looks like RM might be a thing of the past, since many RM versions of cars have been added to the list as touring cars, rally cars, "LM" versions, etc. Given that there were only 20 or so cars in GT5 that could accept race mods (and many of them were lame in my opinion), I'm ok with this.
 
Don't get me wrong. I'm very excited about gT6 and I can't wait to put my hands on it since day 1. But I can't help to see that PD is still in its old habits.

Most of the new additions are great, but there are still repetitions and the noticeable absence of highly demanded cars. I don't mind a Lunar Rover and some basic trim daily commuters, but that over other cars that everyone desired? I just hope that future DLC will mend this.
 
i am sad to see cars have been removed, even though i never really drove the modern rally cars that much. the moon rover makes up for it though hahaha... when i first read that, man i went... i went ... i flipped..man. i was lmaoing

Car #178 is the 1937 Audi Auto Union Streamline which was not in GT5 if I am correct.

Well if you see the dealerships screenshot in the official website, one of them depicting chromeline murcielago that costs 100.000-ish cr more and abit more power than normal. So there's that.

as for the Viper im not really sure what PD is thinking other than just adding a car to the list...

you will have the:

- 2013 SRT Viper GTS
- 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition (which is just a normal GTS in the classic Blue w/ white stripes)
- 2013 SRT Viper GTS 15th Anniversary Edition

the launch edition could have easily been included as a simple paint option for the normal car...and i much rather would have had the 2014 Viper TA instead of the separate launch edition...and especially would have liked the GTS-R and/or GT3-R
