I found this trick on a website and it is very helpful. All you have to do is buy or win a new car. then immediatly give it an oil change and a car wash before tuning it. All the upgrades will be worth more and youll end up with about 10-20% extra horse power depending on the car. This is very useful in winning the harder races in professional leaguge where you would normmally have to realy on skill.

Yea most of us already know that and the oil change doesn't have to be done before you upgrade. The first oil change on an unused car boosts the hp.
 
The 'virgin oil change' trick boosts your base HP by 5%. Then, of course, each mod adds by precentage, so that extra 5% gets marked up a little each time. The oil change doesn't have to be done before the mods AFAIK, but it does have to be done on an undriven car.

Washing does nothing for power. But after a car has some miles on it, washing it will buy an extra mile or two per hour of top speed.
 
If you put the cursor over the "GT Auto" icon, the scrolling text will eventually disclose their special deal.
 
Hehehe washing the car always makes it look better anyways ;)
 
If you have less than 2 miles on it the oil change trick still works.

I think dirty cars cause aerodynamic problems this is what i heard dunno if it's true or not

But since i heard this i just wash my cars any way at the same time as when i change the oil :)
 
That's what it says in the manual. A clean car is slightly better aerodynamically, so it gives you a small top speed boost over a dirty car.
 
I dont read the manuals im a hands on person why read manuals when you can just get in about it :lol:
 
yeah... lots have know about this for a long time, since the gt3 japan previews were out
 
Thats kinda old but if you just found out it works great...Its the only upgrade you can do to the miatas for the roadster enduro and the normal car enduro...But whats wrong with winning with skill?
 
thankx for the detail on this trick. if ther are any other basic tricks that any of you know then post them casue i think newbs like me just think that there arent tricks just because we weren't here when people were talking about them

If ya read the book that comes with gt3 it tells you that it helpps out ur speed by 1-5 mph
