Original thread idea by @Populuxe Cowboy on the FH2 forums.

The idea of this thread is simple: If you could only drive 10 cars from GT6 for the rest of your life which ones would they be and why?

  10. Alfa Romeo TZ2 '65
And no, no pictures from me because if everyone shares ten pictures each this page is going to take forever to load. You all probably know what the cars look like anyway :)

I haven't post pics, cause very slow net ,very hard choice only ten cars, but nice idea :
Ruf Btr '86 ( one of my favourite of all the time)
VW Golf gti '76 ( nice and fun to drive it in all the terrains )
SVT Mustang Cobra ( love the sound and the sparkles that can make it)
Nissan Bluebird '69 ( always used in the nurburgring 450pp rooms for the first months of gt6)
Audi r8 ultra Team Phoenix '12 ( i loved the team playstation of gt5,and find it very nice to drive for racing enduros and 2 laps online races, like the yellow headlights too)
Nissan Nismo GTR LM '15 ( extreme strange and naturally i will be use it in all the possible tracks for a different feelings of driving)
Lamborghini Countach 25th '88 ( the car that i saw passing near my house's street when i was child, cause Millemiglia passes all the year into my city, and i like the handling and the exhaust sound, and interior view too)

Lotus F1 '85 ( yes finally use it--gt games-- after years and years)
Mazda rx7 spirit R '02 ( i like try to win some online racings and this is the closest way to do it, but i like also the olds rx7 too)

Big 👍 for your 500 and 450pp cars. Mine would probably be the same right there if I did mine based on PP.

My 10 not necessarily in order:

  1. Honda NSX Type R '02
  2. Ford GT LM Spec II Test car
  3. Audi Sport Quattro S1 rally car '86
  4. Shelby Cobra 427 '66
  5. Ford GT '05
  6. Honda HSV 010 GT
  7. Jaguar XJ13 '66
  8. Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone '67
  9. Lamborghini Diablo GT2 '98
  10. Pescarolo C60 Hybrid

These are the most fun to drive and have some of the better sounds in GT6. There are some honorable mentions not on the list.

Peugeot 908 HDi '10
Nissan Zytek Z11SN Greaves Motorsport '13
McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '95
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 '11
BMW Z4 GT3 '11
Nissan GT-R GT500 '08
Honda HSV-010 GT500 '12
Honda NSX GT500 '08
Subaru BRZ GT300 '12
Autobacs Garaiya GT300 '08

I really like the cars above but PD would have to include proper races offline in GT6 for the game to last a lifetime, being restricted to time trials only doesn't last very long.

I actually needed some time to think about this, but out of all the cars in GT6, these are the chosen ones for me. If we would put 'out of GT6' away, the list would be a little bit different.

Pontiac Firebird Trans Am '78 (Black / Bandit special Edition) - Have always loved this Firebird and because of it's Bandit's car (Smokey and the Bandit)

Lamborghini Miura

430 Scuderia

Honda NSX

Mercedes McLaren SLR

BMW E46 GTR (road car)

TVR Tamora

Audi R18 TDI (Audi Sport Team Joest) '11

Lotus Esprit

TVR Griffith - Everyday runabout
Ruf BTR - (Yeah it has ABS - but I can't fit in an Alpine and I had to put a RR car on the list)
Autobacs Garaiya (JGTC GT300) (Low bucket racing seat - scissor doors - ARTA GAL with an umbrella... when it is sunny!)
LCC Rocket
Lotus - who am I kidding I'd never fit inside one!...
McLaren F1 As I think I could just squeeze into the central seat without having my knees under my chin or my head at a 90° angle due to the roof.
Ford GT40 - If Dan Gurney can fit and win inside one, I think I may just...
Jaguar XJ13 - headroom and a v12 - stylish - No ABS - Looks great.
Ferrari P3 440 - headroom and a v12 stylish No ABS - looks great.
...
Lotus Carlton - I guess I could fit inside this old plodder and I could have passengers... hmmm hate passengers, but they like ABS, milk drinkers!
Honda S800 - (Dream the impossible dream!)

So not a great deal of ABS in that lot. A nice selection of engines V12, V8, Straight6, 4 pot - (No rotary, Ah wankel!)
If I was a six foot or shorter midget sized human then a few normal cars would be okay with a roof; RX7/Alpine A110/Stratos/Esprit. But Real life says, "Must be this short to drive this car."

Last edited:
McLaren F1 '94 - obvious choice; it's been my favorite car for 19 years now. I'd daily that.
Toyota Supra 3.0GT Turbo A '88 - It's a beast in hiding. Super fun to drive!
Aston Martin One-77 '11 - Aston Martin is my single favorite car brand. And one of the veeeery few that have yet to forget how to make beautiful cars when you consider their older cars.
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG '11 - For some reason driving it in GT6 feels very pleasant to me. And it looks astounding in brown! AND I had an occasion to sit in one and smell its interior. Yes I'm a bit of a freak.
Nissan Zytek Z11SN Greaves Motorsport '13 - It's just incredibly fun to drive. Even if for tracks only, I'd love to have it in my garage.
Aston Martin DB9 (change to AM310 Vanquish '13 if it were in the game) - it's a gentleman's supercar. I'm no gentleman so it suits me best. Really though, I could look at it for ages.
Ferrari 365 GTB4 '71 - it's fast. Oh my god it's freakishly fast. I'd never think they made cars of this level of performance 44 years ago.

Nissan Skyline GT-R V Spec II Nur (R34) '02, in Midnight Purple III - easily my favorite R-species Nissan.
This list needs a hot hatch, so Renault Clio R.S. '11 - I love it. It's THE way to have fun in a car that you're not expecting to perform well, but surprises you in the end so positively that you love it.
KTM X-Bow Street '12 - and this is my favorite thing to drive in GT6. Take it to the Nordschleife, set it to the middle of the night, turn off your HUD and install any custom exhaust. It's magical.

10 cars isn't enough ;_;

Toyota GT-one race car
McLaren F1 GTR long tail
Lancer Evo VI TM edition
Lancer Evo VI rally car
McLaren F1
Aston Martin one-77
BMW M5
BMW M4
Dodge (SRT) Viper GTS 2013... hope for ACR version in GT7

  1. Alpine A110 '72
  2. Ford GT40 Mark I '66
  3. Toyota 2000GT '67
  4. Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe '64
  5. Ferrari 250 GT '61
  6. Ferrari 250 GTO '62
  7. Ferrari Dino '71
  8. Renault R8 Gordini '66
  9. Fiat 500 F '68
  10. Alfa Romeo TZ2 '65

Actually, I'll trade the Ferrari 250 GTO for a Lotus Europa Special '72. Nothing personal, it's just that the list isn't big enough for the both of you :(

1. KTM X-Bow - pretty much an unstoppable weapon up until the 650 PP class. A race car killer for the budget conscious.

2. Mazda LM55 VGT - Because Rotary. 4WD traction is superb, even for over 700 pp. The best VGT for me.

3. Mazda RX-7 FD3S - Because, once again, Rotary. One of the finest cornering machines ever made.

4. Peugeot 908 HDi FAP - That torque figure. Even so, the wheelspin is surprisingly manageable and arguably the best-handling LMP car.

5. Lamborghini Diablo GT - Truly lives up to its name. Diabolical indeed.

6. Subaru Impreza WRX STi NBR Challenge Package - one of the best 4WD road cars in the game. Can easily shame RWDs.

7. GT By Citroen Road Car - looks menacing, with performance to match that menace.

8. Ferrari F40 - Nothing beats its fun factor. I can drive it all day.

9. McLaren MP4-12C - A car that has improved so much in GT6. Gone are its problems from GT5.

10. Honda NSX Type R (NA2) - For something that has a restrained power output, it made supercars raise their eyebrows.

Let's see:
- Mazda MX-5/Miata
- Honda Civic R or Si, one of the 90s versions
- Ruf 3400
- Honda S2000
- BMW 135 or 330 (either one)
- Mazda RX-7, probably the '02
- Subaru WRX Rally Car
- Ford GT, '05 or so
- Chevrolet C7 Corvette Race Car
- Mazda 787B
