It's simple: post 10 of your favorite or most inspirational racecars and your 10 favorite or inspirational road cars. Here's mine:
Considering i'm only 14, there aren't many inspirational racecars today.
I mean the R18 and R18 E-Tron are pushing the technology of ILMC and ALMS forward but it is just a repetitive technology. Porsche had already been using the fly-wheel, KERS (F1), and other technologies. While back in the 60's through 90's you had all these beautiful machines that weren't forced back by rules and regulations. Racing used to mean who can go the fastest and win the most races. Not about how to sell beer, food, tires etc. I don't want to be interrupted in the middle of an F1 race or ALMS race to be taught about tires every 10 minutes. So this is why my list is before I was born. Including some of my road cars.
Racecars:
1. Can Am cars
2. Senna's McLaren MP4/4
3. Porsche 917 K
4. Ford GT40
5. Ferrari F1 1967
6. Lotus F1 1968
7. Ferrari 330 P4 and 250 Testarossa
8. Jaguar D-Type
9. Ford GT MK4
10. Peugeot 908
It's unfortunate they don't broadcast the FIA GT1 or GT3 series in the USA because, other than F1 I love watching GT cars. It seems more competitive and exhilarating.
Road cars (easy to choose, hard to narrow down):
1. Lamborghini Miura SV
3. Ford GT (was my first car crush)
4. Ferrari 458 Spider
5. Lamborghini Aventador
6. Ferrari 288 GTO
7. Pagani Zonda
8. Zenvo ST1
9. Koenigsegg Agera R
10. Audi R8 GT
There are SOOO many others but I'll leave that to you.
