100,000 budget challenge

I'm at school, and to pass time here, I've been doing challenges with some of my friends, and this time I'm going to put them in groups of 3 and give them a budget of 100,000 for a car and upgrades, and the car will have to be all around, meaning tarmac, dirt and snow. Some of the races will be staged as rallys doing time splits, 1st person do stage one, second person does stage 2 etc.. and one mini endurance race of 1 lap each on the nurburgring, only swapping drivers in the pits.

I'm trying to give them ideas as what things they could do, as I'm sure that some of them are just gonna buy a supercar costing 100,000 when others could easily beat them with a tuned up car with racing tyres.

The car bought will have to be premium.

If you had 100,000 budget to buy a car and upgrades, which car would buy, and what upgrades will you do.

Bear in mind that even though there are snow and dirt races, I'll be paying for those, so they don't come out of the budget.

Also, as i have some of the premium cars already, the car below cannot be used, as I do not want 2 of the same cars.

civic type r '97
mini cooper latest model
civic type r '08
golf iv
wrx sti 07
wrx sti 10
wrx sti '05
clio renault v6
elise 111r
nsx '91
m3 coupe

If you're gonna be doing rally as well, I'd suggest one of the 4WD tuners (STi/Evo/etc). You should be able to get a lot out of those cars for 100k.

I know, hence my team getting the scooby wrx sti '10, as no 2 teams can have the same cars. There are lots of evos available, but i want a mixture of drivetrains and types of cars, like a elise '97 vs scooby '10 on all terrains.

TommyKaira ZZII 59,998 in the ocd.

great call, its 4wd 550bhp and will cost 59,998, trust me nothing below 100,000 will even get near it and like he said its in the ocd so buy that and you will win overall easily!

How about an Audi R8?
4WD, pretty quick, good handling with some tuning, if you don't like 4WD for tarmac races, it's relatively easy to set up like a RWD car...

Nevermind, that's above your budget...

I would have said a Toyota Celica GT-Four, but i don't think a road version is in the game as Premium.

Obvious choice would be any of the Mitsibushi Lancer Evo cars. If you're going for dirt and snow than anything other than a 4WD car is a bit of a no no.

Chevrolet Camaro SS '10. It's already fast in stock trim. Throw 65k into making it hold the road and it'll thrash the Impreza's on tarmac. Wont be as fast on dirt though.

Thanks for all the replies, some people decided to choose of of your choices.

I decided to let people choose whatever cars they want within the budget, as me saying everybody having to have different cars is a bit stingy.

Some peoples choices;

Subaru wrx sti '10
lotus elise '97
renaultsport clio v6
2 mishibishis, forgot the models
golf v
This should be interesting.
