ppl always mistake this
but if ur missing out on the championship and can't cancel outta the last one... eg:
one closest 2 u in exactly 10 pts behind you, and he is ranked first on the grid

what you do is qualify unless u get first
and then
u quit
the result is that the comp will not get those 10 pts, and the closest person will only recieve 6

in other words, qualifying saves ur a$$

When you are in race 10 of a 10 race series
and 2nd highest person with points is 9 pts behind you, they will win, right?
well
if you qualify and get Pole position, the game remakes the starting grid, with you on top and the car with 9 less pts behind you, therefore, you can skip out, instead of what i did *race the 78 laps @ cote*
 
Uh, I still dont get it. The fastest AI car should get 10 points anyway, no matter where they have qualified, unless they crap out somewhere......

if you qualify for first, and YOU succedd, quit outta the race
you will now be on top of the grid, instead of the AI
now you can safely cancel outta the race, and the AI will not be able to take those 10 pts, they will take 6
i'll set up a screenie when i can ;)

they only get 6 points.. check it out... i've been winnin nice champs like that too :D
you get 0 pts thats right
but you take away the chance of them getting 10 pts, cuz youre in that spot
the game is stupid, and thinks that everyone finished 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, but no one finished 1st.. :D
 
I do remember when I saw that screen say something like...

"100% Completed"

And I was like, YESSSSS!!! At last!

I do remember the joy, and everything that goes with it!

After all the efforts, you're done!

Well, after a month.. it's time to RESTART!
