Thinking about starting an infraction based league/racing series with full video review of all incidents. I would consider myself and son to be Stewards of this league putting in the time to manage league and run it efficiently, honestly and cleanly. My goal in GT5 is not to win races, but to be a part of the fairest competition possible and run unique and challenging races that consistently produce edge of your seat racing fueled by adrenalin.
It is important to note that I do not intend to make all the rules myself. Just lay out a base line and build on it with input from the Drivers.
Initial Format. The initial "A" league will consist of 8-12 Drivers. Any more entry's than that will be relagated to the "B" league via qualifying or a spot spec race or something.
All in race incidents and activity will be monitored via replays, we will let side to side contact and rubbing go provided neither driver feels an infraction was committed and does not request review. Any incident that involves damage will see at least one or both of the drivers involved sent to the back of the field and the race will be restarted via rolling start.Multiple infraction points could result in relagation to a lower league.
We are not setting anything in stone yet as I value others input and will be happiest if this is a group effort involving input from all to establish a rule system that creates the ultimate sim feel.
This is not for noobs, This is for people dedicated to the art of race craft in GT5 and running clean events. Think you have what it takes? Try us out.
I would prefer to run this as a league with Spec and stock cars, but am fully prepare to run tuned cars if that's what the majority want.
