I finally completed GT3 yesterday! I had to beat the Monaco race in the F1 championship, which took many tries! It felt good to beat that race, and I felt relaxed after looking at my game status and seeing it said 100.0%! This is the first time I have ever beaten a Gran Turismo game, so that is why I was so excited to beat it! It was not easy though, as many people can tell you. I am glad to finally complete this great game, and I guess now I will have to wait for GT4!

You saved the Formula GT for last and you had to do the whole 78-lap race several times? What car were you using? That's pretty interesting that you would've completed all the other races and the Time Trials but have some trouble with that one.

I know what you mean about it being a relief. I got 100% before, and I did the endurance races, Formula GT and the Time Trials last. It really starts to drag. So my current game I'm doing it backwards. I got the licenses, then I did the PD Cup, Formula GT, Like the Wind, then all the endurnace races, then the Pro Dream Car Championship. Now I don't have any of the long obnoxious ones left, and I'm having fun trying to do a variety of races with really underpowered cars.

Yes congrats on a job well done. I've only completed around 53.7 percent but I wasn't playing for a while, just started playing again.

Pfft...100% That's so overrated...

I'm just kidding dude. That's quite a feat. Good job. Embrace yourself for GT4!!! :D

It took you "a few tries" to beat that final Formula GT race? Wow, I beat it first go, winning by about a lap and a half...:p

Only that much? :p ;)

grats Wildcard 👍 on the 100%, do you have 48 Golds though? that could be your next challenge

Congrats!

So when you gonna restart on a new card?

Good luck,

Till later,

AO

I had to do to the save/load trick for the Formula GT. I didn't win every race in it on my first try. I had to the 78-lap race a few times before I beat it. I only did all 78 laps once, though, and that was when I won it, obviously. I used the F686/M for it. The F094/H was tough to beat in the last race!

I don't have all golds, but you're right, that could be my next challenge. I have all golds in the B-license, but that is it.

I've beaten the game too. I just think you don't get very much for 100.0% completion (as a PAL User) Only thing you get are some cars i already had...

CONGRATZ. WHOO HOOO

can i have your memeory card, so i can overwrite it to mine?

Way to go. I've played the game through to 100% twice. Currently I am working my way through to 100% one last time before GT4 is out. I'm at 74.3% after a few weeks work. Oh and I am plying it to 100% using non-race cars in all but the places I have no choice (my RGT, Skyline R34 and Viper GTS are getting alot of love). Nothing like finishing off the Rally division with the RR RGT!

Again Congrats!

hehe congrats ...

got a 100% once before ... doin' it again - trying to do it the fastest way possible for me. Started with gettin gold licenses - 90 minutes for B and A, and then 4 hours for IA, IB and R (that camaro uphill in Seattle was the toughest thing for me - had to do it over and over again for more than one hour :/), a lot of them were done in first try though :). Then it took me 2 hours for S license all golds and approx. 70 minutes for all ten time attacks. Then I used 6 hours to complete Arcade races - done it all on hard, 3.5 hrs for Rally League all gold, and so on ...

Currently at 62.2%, complete Beginner League; complete Rally League; FF, FR, MR, 4WD, TURBO and NA Championships complete also in Amateur and Professional League, All Endurace Races except Mistral Endurance and Trial Mountain Endurance. It took me 49 hrs of playing so far. Time for loading and moving between menus, buying upgrades, changing oil, saving game is included in these 49 hours. That is the time GT3 game was running on my PS2 :).

I don't think I'll ever be able to complete it. I only have enduros, arcade and time trials. ONLY? And it gets a bit boring racing around the same ol tracks one after the other. Have about 65% so nowhere near.

Congrats... i 100%'d earlier this summer after having left it at 92% for a year and a half... i think like many, the thought of GT4 around the corner has sparked some interest in GT3 again (especially for us in ?North America, who don't have Concept or Prologue).

I'm working through my 2nd 100% this time trying to complete it without buying a car (except the Tuscan which you can't win) and putting at least 100 miles on every car in the garage (yes that includes the mira, 1800cc, mini, and all the other crappy cars you win). Actually it has been pretty fun and has lead me to discover some new favorites instead of the usual R34, RGT, FTO LM, 787B, Viper, WRX lot... case in point, the Camaro Race Car is actually pretty bad ass... RX-8 and Z Concept rock... and the Mine's Lancer is fun right out of the gate.

Congratulations.

i wish i could get 100% i'm not good at driving the cars that go over 170 mph and that's all i have left is those really fast races. oh yeah, and i can't get the S licence.

phantasm

You will need to buy a Mercedes to enter the 1st silver arrow race series as well.

phantasm: hehe Camaro Race Car was (if I remember correctly) car, with which I've done several thousand (that's right!) miles on my first try. At the end fully tuned it had arround 973HP and was very nice to drive.

I'm never going to get 100% on any grand turismo. I like to fiddle with the cars alot more than i like to go on boring endurance races.

I'll never get 100%, those Time trials are too hard, and you know what? the prize you get for 100% is something you can get elsewhere.

time trials are hard? bah they're not hard. you just need more practice.
