When i decided to eventually enter the 1000 miles event in europe, i used the Ginetta G4 and needed a win on the last race to take the top prize, cos there was no way i was doing it agen. 35 laps round circuit de la sarthe in a car with about 500bhp per tonne. i left it on b-spec and predicted that by 19:30 i would have finished, sure enough i returned knowing tha when i left i was 2 laps clear. I was astonished to find myself on lap 31 and about 1/2 lap behind an Alfa Giuila i immediately pitted in , A-spec was now mandatory and it would take a miracleto catch the Italian trashmaster eventually i caught it and won by 3 seconds.sweating and almost dead, does anyone know a better car from before 1965??

Sounds like your B-Spec'er just needs more practice. He should have been able to handle that just fine. What are his stats?

I'll hav eto say my B-Spec guy can't handle the Ginetta either. I tried to start the 1000 miles with the Ginetta and B-spec Bob couldn't keep it between the ditches....
I've got pretty good b-spec at 86 78 and 76....

I've read that B-Spec does better with an unmodified car. It doesn't know how to handle the modifications. Something to think about.

Doesn't sound like you've done it in the first place. Also if you had to win the last race to secure the series than you must have lost somewhere else so you will have to do it again if you want that 100%.

I always like coming up against the G4 as it is a good a-spec generator but the AI has no idea how to drive the thing - you can almost guarantee that it will have at least one major bingle every lap.

the B-Spec driver can't drive ANYTHING WITHOUT aero mods.

i thought that if there was a tourny all you needed to do was win the whole thing but i guess not.....now that i think each race no matter how big or small is worth about 0.169%, just won the Jag XJR9 what a car!

In a tourny you only need to finish first in the championship to win the prize money and prize car. You do not need to win each race. For your completion percentage, you need to win every single race and mission.

A modified '63 Elan may give a modified Ginetta a really hard time. Those things have more grip than Spider Man.

I used the Corvette C1, but then I did it in a-spec. I'd bet in b-spec the MB 300SL would be a pretty easy win as that was my only real competition during my last series.
