Alright, so some time has gone by since the original post about this. I feel that enough info has been brought to this thread and I think we now have a definite answer for the long time question

"How Do You Get A 1000 Ticket?"

You get a ticket every time you've won 100 A-spec races AND accumulated 2000 A-Spec km - if one of the criteria is filled but the other isn't, nothing happens. A hundred victories does nothing if you've only done 500 km over them, likewise 5000 km does nothing if you've only won 90 races since [you] last [received a] ticket.

In the first scenario, the victory requirement has been reached, and you will [then receive] the [1000] ticket when the mileage requirement is met - no matter how many victories [you have] at the point [of accumulating enough KMs].

In the second [scenario] the mileage is there and you'll have to win ten more races [in order] to get the ticket.

Only A-Spec counts (your total mileage shows B-Spec too so it's not much of a help) and the counters are reset after every ticket.

Also, i can now confirm that the game remembers your KM's and # of races even if you 2x or 3x the requirement for a ticket.

That is...on a long auto grind you DO NOT have to stop every 100 [wins]/2000KM to collect your ticket, as previously thought.

For example: i just completed a 20hr auto grind tonight, when i stopped and backed out to the GT life screen my ticket popped. Then i had to choose another menu option ( i checked the UCD). After exiting the UCD another ticket popped. Enter and exit the UCD again and my third ticket popped.

I can confirm what Slower Than Bob says, because I ran a 10 hour rubber band grind with my X2 on the Like The Wind - Indy track and when I got done grinding, I backed out to GT Life and I received a ticket. I then went and changed the oil, backed out to GT Life and received a 2nd 1000 ticket. So you don't need to back out every few hours. GT5 keeps track of where you're at in account to 100 races and 1000KMs and awards you accordingly.

BUT REMEMBER, you will want to go and change the oil after you back out of the race or grind because once the oil has been changed you might receive a 2nd ticket for accumulated WINS and KM's. If you've run one long grind and GT see's you've raced 320 races and 3599 KMs it will award you 3 tickets for the 300 races) and 3000KMs. The excess 20 races and 599KMs then count towards your next ticket. Understand?

I want to say thank you to Greycap and Slower Than Bob for helping me to get a definite answer to this question. As you can see I did use your quotes, and I did make some slight changes to them so it would be a little more clear. Any words of mine that I added into the quotes are marked in brackets [ ].

It's 2000Km AND 100 race participations-finishing doesn't matter. It's also cumulative, meaning any combination of cars/tracks to get to the required mileage AND race participations.A-spec only

Also i think the 1000 Ticket gifting is glitched..... 2000km is 1,243 miles, if you get one every 2000km i should have 10 of them

Yes. Everything that doesn't work like you believe it should is a glitch. :dunce:

The message that pops up when you get one says you get one for 2000 km driven or 100 races completed. But we all know that its not working that way at the moment.

It's very simple, you must complete 1000km or have 100 race victories without going back to the 'My GranTurismo' main menu ie: run the Indy race over and over until you have accumulated either of these requirements and then exit, then you'll receive one.

Basically if you do any long championship or endurance that covers more than 1000km you will get one.

So it's either 100 races (like a race w/3 laps that takes 3 mins, or just any 100 races, win or lose) or a race that is 1000km long (a single endurance race) and you'll receive the 1000k ticket.

You don't need to do both? just one or the other?

A or B Spec will do.

On a specific track for 2000km AND 100 wins.

I played b-spec to lv 40 and I never received a single Ticket 1000. However I received three tickets 1000 in a-spec already and I am "only" lv 32 in a-spec
Sorry, but that doesn't make any sense. Not only is my level in b-spec much higher you also have to drive more rounds (km) in b-spec. In fact I played b-spec for the last 6 weeks and I was driving on the same 2 tracks over and over again to gather some money.
I really don't think you can get a ticket 1000 from b-spec.

Sjeeess, When you proceed in A-spec, and you will, when you get to the Extreme series, you will have most likely got your first 1000 ticket. After 100 A spec wins, or 2000 A Spec kilometers.

Stop posting nonsense.

You've realized that this thread has just about as many different answers as posts, just like all the other threads about it, or?

In other words, nobody seems to really know. We all know that we can get multiple of these tickets, and nobody seems to know what the go is. It cannot be every 2,000 kms, though, as some people have way more than 20,000 A-Spec kms and they didn't get 10 tickets. So, question is, what do you get the ticket 1,000 for exactly, i.e. your 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on ticket? It cannot be after every 100 A-spec wins OR 2000 A-Spec kilometers, we know that already. So, what is the definite answer here?

I did the Le Mans 24 hours A Spec a few weeks ago. No 1000 ticket.

If you don't want to believe it, start a new game, and figure it out.
I'm done.

Has nothing to do with believe, it's a matter of fact.

"After 100 A spec wins, or 2000 A Spec kilometers."

This might work for your very first ticket (I honestly don't know), but it does not work for any successive tickets.

If that would work for any successive ticket, you'd have gotten at least one such ticket for every 2,000 A-Spec kilometers driven, and we do know for a fact that this is not the case. I don't have to start a new game to figure this out, as I've figured this out already. What I haven't figured out, is how exactly to get a ticket 1,000. The last one I got I got after doing a few practice laps on La Sarthe. Go figure.

I have never seen a ticket for B-Spec, and I have over 80k miles driven on 1 car in B-Spec, mostly done on 2 tracks, so I highly doubt you get it for B-Spec racing.

If it helps you have to go back to the GT Life menu in order to get the ticket. You can drive for 200 wins and still get only one ticket if you did not exit the race screen and return to GT Life menu after the first 100.

THIS ^ is important to heed if you're farming 1000 tickets!

If you're grinding ''Like the Wind'' to produce the tickets, you should stop every ~6-7 hrs (cumulative) to collect your ticket.

hello fellow ticket farmers...FWIW and YMMV:

I now believe the game remembers your number of wins even if you go past the 100wins/2000km mark during a long auto grind.

recent examples from myself:

1)after a long grind (~16 hours) i stop machine and collect ticket, one second later another ticket pops!

2) collect ticket after auto grinding for (?) amount of time. restart the grind, but had to stop again after 1-2hr (for trading) and another ticket pops.

Yeah menu screen stuff is B.S. You can go to the menu as much as you like. 2000K or 100 races. That's how my game works.

Just do the Indy 500 a-spec and you get one, my friend done it and he got a that old jag race car, forgot which one
