12 hours = 12x60x60 = 43 200 seconds

43200/a full fueled lap in seconds = no of laps you need.

you lap faster with low fuel and that about cancels the time spend in pitstops.

He means that you will do waaaay more laps in 12hrs with a X1 than with a Prius. Your question makes no sense.

if you're timing 1'00" a lap, then you'll have 720 laps (nonstop race)

go and do 5 laps, get all times and divide by 5. then 12x60x60/your time in seconds

and you'll have an idea of how many laps it'll take
