Ooo, so it hooks up to the ATX plug thing, coolies.

Can you like, use the computer with the remote. For playing music and such?

Exactly... There's a neat little program I use, freeware, called myHTPC which is a front end for whatever Media player(s) you like to use.. Then you have a simple (programmable) menu which lets you display pictures, play MP3's, movies, custom list of radio stations etc. Mostly excellent I tell you 👍

Do you know of any HTPC software to have Winamp support (Preferrably Winamp 2.8)?
I'm planning on making a Mini-ITX pc for my car and just having that as the main source of music and movies, and other such things. I would like to run R4 (a visual display for Winamp) on the system is why.

R4 is standalone. I run it on a few systems that have no sight of Winamp on them. 👍

myHTPC has support for Winamp 2.8 👍

I knew R4 was a standalone, I was just using it as a point to why I want Winamp to run. I think Winamp has the best codec support of any media player out there, and I was making sure I could use it in such a HTPC setup.

@Flerbizky, awesome dude, thanks. Now another quick question... Does the myHTPC software actually display the Winamp program, or just use it as a software base?
