Is it just me or is the Storm 12, Tom's Castrol Supra and other NEW gt-1 cars weak? I buy them all, test drive them, enhance the gear ratios and turbo them, and STILL they are like snails! My GT-One Road car, Vertigo Race Car, Falcon XR8 Race Car, ALL of my new gt-1 cars are all better! Even my camaro race car! And never changed ANY of there gear ratios. So if YOU want good cars, beat the European Championship (amtr), American Ch. (amtr) Super Speedway Endurance race (endr) GRANTURSIMO World Championship (amtr), and other races that have "special" cars. They are the best. :lol:

If you want to go fast, leave the gear ratios alone.
If you want to go fast, quickly, you must alter your final drive ratio to something higher numerically than 4.11.
 
i disagree, i always change the gears for max performance, i'm not trying to get a better top speed, that doesn't matter, as long as i'm in my final gear before the 600m warning on the test course, that way i'm able to harness all the power and have great acceleration :cool: ,oooh and the castrol tom's supra can kick any cars ass on the track 😈 ! i've tried, it's got great handeling, and the acceleration is pretty good! don't diss him!
anyway if your camaro can beat the castrol, than your castrol settings are crap( don't mean to offend), try something else!
 
I dont think any of the JGTC's are very much of a thrill to drive. They are all pretty tame which is good. The Storm V12 is a cool car and I can still beat the cars in its class with it.

I think the worst are the Panoz Esperante and the Ford GT40 race Car. I dont understabd why everyone thinks the GT40 Race car is so good?
 
The Panoz I had to put up with because it was the first Lemans class car I got hold of. Eventually it got slaughtered in the pro mode.

Nice to see a fellow lister fan, its a shame allot of people think here that the Lister storm is crap in real life because it is crap in the game. Which is totaly untrue, because it has owned the British GT cup quite a few times beating Lotuses TVRs and the like.

Also I found the tickford to be slightly quicker than the storm, have you got some good settings for the big yellow beast?
 
Oiiii the GT40 kicks ass it's a great car to drive ...
It may not be the fastest car on the block but it sure as hell is most enjoyable to drive especially if you like to drive sideways all the time:devil:

As for the supra's i have yet to find a car with simillar BHP & drive type that is able to beat the supra so it cannot be weak

Also why is it that all the top times for FR class cars are done with the Denso Sard.. or the Castrol Toms .supras

Ahhhhhhhhh........no man its just you. I mean if your looking to just blow cars away than just use an F1.

Yah, well, I like to go fast and I dont want to go sideways. I agree that it might be out of control fun, but the ultimate fun for me is perfect handling with awesome pull like a damn freight train.
 
the Storm is a pile. i like the JGTC cars, but the Supras require some suspension tuning before they're really drivable.
