Toronto, Canada: 18 Seat GT3 Charity LAN Party!
Join in on the fun, with enough competitors to make for some great racing!
If you can get to the central Toronto area, with all of your necessary GT3 equipment, on February 20th (a Sunday), we can set up 3 GT3 LANs in an empty apartment, if we collect funds for a charity. This location will be available for a full day.
Because the location is entirely empty, you must bring everything you need to participate, including chairs, console equipment/Firewire cables (both 4/4 & 4/6 wire)/controllers etc., and TVs. If you are missing something, you will have to acquire it at a local Radio Shack or at a good local Dollar store. If you can bring extra TVs, that would help a number of players who may not come otherwise. This will take some planning on your part, so contact me _as soon as possible_, if you plan on competing.
The non-time-limited Japanese demo disc will be available to try out, as well.
We get the apartment at no charge, if we raise funds for a charity, so I picked "Mothers Against Drunk Driving", since it was appropriate. Be prepared to donate. Tax receipts can be mailed to you by the charity organization, if you donate more than $20, as usual, per Canadian tax laws. All lesser amounts will be donated on behalf of the landlord.
Food will have to be brought or ordered in. There is a food store and a few restaurants nearby, too.
Find out if you are among Canada's top GT players!
