Which is about half a mile from where I live. I drive through it every day.

I'm sure most Brits would have seen this on the news. What is this world coming to? It really is disturbing.

She was stabbed to death and left in a park :(
 
There really are brutal people out there I agree. I've not watched the news yet so I don't know about it. Latley there have been a lot of stabbings. What is wrong with people! :(

I few weeks ago, because of all of this knife violence, people want people that carry knives to have the same charge as carrying a gun, going to jail.
 
Meh, those random stabbings we had a while back the first one occured about 10 minutes walk away from where I live.
 
This sort of crap goes on all the time in Toronto. Murders happen on a nearly daily basis here. I know it sounds really cold and indifferent, but after a while you just stop caring. Otherwise, you'd be in a constant state of grief, or you'd be living a life of fear.

I thought toronto was a really safe place...maybe when compared to rochester :sick:

I seriously don't get how you can take someone's life like that, especially when they had an entire future ahead of them. Sick ****s.

Oh wait, you're in the UK. See if you were in the States and she wasn't pregnant or good looking or rich ... or all three ... no one would care.

What is it that causes people to think that killing someone else is a good idea? What went wrong in their life to feel the need to take someone elses life? I still say it all happens from age 4 to 18. I'm sure that girl's parents did a good job raising her, but they couldn't protect her from other bad parents.

Well there has been more and more killings in the UK for things like mobile phones and audio devices.

Luckily mass rampages aren't a normal occurence as there are no huns, but families have been killed in multiple killings. The Clydach murders (might have heard of it) happened within 5 mins drive of my house.

Or young, the media likes the helplessness of youth. They can grab more viewers from those.

The number of murders in my area is astounding but you never see it on the news. Yet when some one is murdered out in colorado it makes national news.
 
you lucky thats only half a mile from you... when i was in jamaica for spring break, there was a shooting with AK-47's at the end of my neighbour's drive-way with 3 polices and 3 theives... the 3 theives died in the middle of the road, and in the bushes :)

Wasn't she Indian/Pakistani? As she wanted to be a singer I instantly thought honour killing. A few girls have been killed due to those reasons in that area. Whatever happened the fact is this country is turning into a sesspool of murder and violence.

My folks tell me it wasn't like this 50 years ago...........
 
That is sad news. These days shop owners don't even ask for id when a little kid wants to buy a knife, so no wonder these stabbings are really rife, especially in London.
Not so long ago, someone got stabbed when they were going for a run in the park early in the morning. If the government doesn't punish these people who are found in posession of a weapon with harsher penalties, it will only get worse.

I'm not sure... all I know is that I remember that a two people got stabbed in clissold, and victoria park - both seperate incidents.
It's the last thing someone expects to happen to them when going for a run. But then this is the 21st century!

That's sad, very sad. There are some nasty people out there who are capable of doing this, and do unfortunately. I remember a few years ago, a rugby player was stabbed to death in an alleyway in the town i live in. It's horrific that people are killed like this, but it does happen, every day many people are killed for no reason. It's an evil world we live in

A few years ago right near my old public school there was a pizza pizza store right beside it and a few weeks before school started they found the body of a woman in the dumpster behind pizza pizza with her breasts cut off. Sick phuckers.

Ev0 you have to remember that most of the people getting stabbed in Toronto are friggin' idiot gang members. Mostly Jamaicans and Japanese's. Not trying to be racist or anything but those are the people who are getting gunned down or stabbed in Toronto, so it's not such a bad place unless you are in a gang. The rest of your post I agree with wholeheartedly though. May sound inhuman or coldhearted but some times you just have to let go of reality to sometimes live in reality.
 
Down in winnipeg they've got 12 year old kids lighting other 12 year old kids on fire. It's messed up these days. I wish the judical system was more like miniority report where they could see things happen before they happened.

Crime is pretty bad here in Winnipeg, but I don't think it's that much worse than any other big city in Canada. In the last two months, there's been 3 separate incidents at my school. Two big fights with weapons (golf clubs, bats, pool balls in socks, machetes), and one kidnapping. One kid at my school got cut with a machete in that fight, had to go to hospital, and also got expelled from the school, maybe even the entire division, not sure. It was bad though, it happened right next to the student parking lot. :sick:
 
Wow, this is scary- especially for the UK. They don't exactly have huge metropolitan and urban & suburban cities like Canada and USA. But I'm not sure if it's worse than what happened to some kid about 5 mins away from me- on Friday some guy in a truck tried to abduct a kid 2 streets down from me. Pretty freaky.
