Nice pics! Arent these cars ridiculously rare in buyable condition? I had a friend of mine try to find one about 8 years ago to enter a vintage club or something. I think he was reading Grassroots Motorsports at the time?

Thanks! This exact model might be a hard find, but there are a lot of early to mid '70's 2002's out there. Most of them were someones daily driver but you'll occasionally find one of these.

Anyone else notice the writing on the front airdam is reversed?
 
Yeah, the story goes that the lettering is reversed to warn driver ahead on the Autobahn that this is no ordinary 2002. It would be correct in their rear view mirror...
 
That's how it should be. BMW used to say it was to scare the competition as they looked into their rear-view mirror.
 
Man, I can't wait to drive this thing when I get the game on Friday. I can't stop thinking.

But whatever, the screens are great, although I must admit, some parts of the car look a little flat and have no depth, if you like. Especially the front.
 
Forgive me but whats so sweet about this car? I mean looking at the selling ad the car with 150k on it is going for 15 grand. Are they rediclously rare or something. Sorry, I'm not really a BMW fan so I don't know anything about them.
 
This car is the ultimate BMW before the M cars came out. Right now they are extremly expensive(the turbo model is) the regular 2002 is nothing special.

Cool. I tought it was a bug, but I'm glad to read that PD made no mistake. I'm currently racing/tuning the BMW, great fun!
