Hi everyone, first time posting here. The name is Angus Wong and I had actually forgotten about the release of GT6. Largely because I kind of got bored of GT5 and I forgot about the series.

Today, I had the urge to play GT again and it occurred to me that GT6 has been released (for a while). And I found that Target (for whatever reason) has GT6 @ $39.99 new. Whereas everyone else is still selling it at full retail price of $59.99. Even used from Gamestop is $54.99.

It's not an online special, just go to the store and have them price match their own online price. I hope this is good news for those of you who haven't gotten a copy yet. And allow me to apologize to bring such news to those who bought the game already. :(

As for myself, I'm a bit of car enthusiast, like most of you here. I own a 2009 Mazdaspeed 3 GT in white. And I'm itching to get an AP2 Honda S2000 when the opportune time comes.

Anyways, see y'all online! :)

Yeah the game is still at full retail price. But for whatever reason, Target has them at $40.
Incredible. You'd think what with the low sales and poor reviews (although there're many good ones too) that they'd cut the price as much as possible just to shift a few more units. Looks like Target know what's up (still a bit high a price IMO though).

I'm ok with $40 for a game, especially one that has replay value as high as a GT game. What I'm not ok with is the lack of my beloved Mazdaspeed 3 in the game. :(

Yet, the Mazdaspeed 6 made it into the game. :(

He's doing it wrong though, haha. Everyone knows to stiffen up the rear suspension to encourage more oversteer in this car. Although, I thought Mazda did a good job with this car. For a FWD on steroids, it handles surprisingly neutral. It really doesn't understeer all that bad.

It's a replica, actually - its purpose is NOT to be a fast car, but to exactly mimic the OEM car. From there, you can add your own mods.

For example, my street car is a 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS wagon. I took the STI wagon in game, (the bugeye,) and cut back the power to non-turbo spec, and changed the spring rates. I created the car without modifications. Then, as I upgraded the car in real life, I duplicated those changes in game. I now have a massive rear anti-roll bar and sports hard tires on the car. But, you have to have the starting point before you build upon it. :)
