Is anyone having problems with this feature? It wont let me do a GT500 Race "Tuning Restricted". Even with cars I just bought???? Does this mean street cars only because you can adjust DF and Gear Ratio's on Race Cars? Also can we change tires? Just curios if anyone has figured it out yet before I go spend $20million on new cars.

You sure you have your GT500 cars stock ? Most people upgrade them with racing soft and turbo to fit them to 520 HP.

I dont know if that makes a difference or not just guessing here.

It looks like if you choose to do a GT500 or GT300 or other type of specific series, it allows only those types of cars and they can be tuned to the max. If you want to limit GT500 cars to 500 hp, then you need to not specify type of car and then do it the old way of hp limit, weight limit, etc and then boot those that will not change to a gt500 car.

I was messing about with this earlier and found a few things.

1. You are allowed to change brake bias and engine limiter and still enter a tuning restricted race.
2. There may be a bug where the default gear ratios have changed, but your car is still on old defaults, even if you never changed it. To be absolutely sure, go through all the settings (gear ratios, suspension, LSD, aero, ballast), and reset to defaults on everything.
