I have the Logitech formula force and have noticed in the replay telemetry that I only get 2/3 braking when using the foot brake. If I use the paddle on the wheel I get full brake power.

What gives? Anybody else experience this?

There is a specific 'force-feedback steering wheel' set-up in the Options section.

In there, you're able to how much analogue effort is required to acheive full-braking. If you go there you'll be able to address this issue.

I have set up the wheel through the Options menu. The problem IS a problem and still exists. Also its the second wheel since I took the first one back and exchanged it.

Anybody got any ideas?

Brit - there are a couple of threads about this... I had the same problem with my wheel.... there was also a problem with using the paddle shifters when the wheel is turned to lock.

<shrug> I only ever use my wheel for rally racing and who needs brakes then?

lol

I never ran into this problem with mine, but I know that having your PS2 controller plugged in at the same time as the wheel can cause issues.
Try recalibrating, and not pushing the pedal all the way to the floor (3/4 or so) See how that works out for you.

What - and you can't simply adjust the 100% braking threshold through the wheel set-up menu to match the the braking from the wheel? This is odd.

When you go to calibrate the wheel in the Options menu, don't push the peddle all the way down. You also might want to put something between the peddle and the base so you know where "full brake" is located according to your callibration. You might also want to do that with the steering wheel.

i just got my GT3 wheel and i have full braking, i am also able to change gear when the wheel is at full lock (i heard that some people cant) but my only problem is getting the wheel perfectly straight. every time i callibrate it and set it straight it looks ok on the TV but when i go to race the wheel is slightly turned to the left. its not a lot but enough to upset the cars handeling.
if anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix it please help.
