2 Player Time Change

Is there any way to change the time in 2 player arcade mode? I would like to play with my little sister but neither of us can see the track and there is no way to turn on the racing line.

Don't even say to check the Driving Options on the screen before the race, 2 player mode skips that screen.
 
If you are talking about the time of the track, pick a course thats brightly lit or doesn't have a time or weather variable one, like I know High Speed Ring and Grand Valley are sunny.

Try turning on the racing line in single player than try 2 player.
 
I know there are tracks that are well lit but I would like to drive Willow as you can go off and not hit a wall. I would like to know if there is a way to change the time of a track that is dark.

I did try that and it didn't work.
 
Willow should automatically be sunny? I'm sorry I'm making speculations here, I am away from my PS3 atm, hmmm maybe its a buggy function as GT5 allowed you to do so, sorry mate.
 
Its actually not just the tracks, the whole game is quite dark, its not as bright as it was in GT5. I thought the upside to this was better lighting and dynamic shading. I mean what they did in GT5 was make it bright so they can't see mistakes, here in GT6, make it so dark that you'll think you're Stevie Wonder.
 
I have this problem as well, for some reason in 2 player split screen you cannot set the time and weather for the time/weather variable tracks. It seems to be random, it would make it so much better if you can select the time and weather for the race. Its really frustrating loading a race to find its night and raining when you have selected dry tyres.
 
Think there's a display section under GT6 options that lets you brighten even dark images - default is EV0 and you can increase the value; remember doing that the 1st time i raced on Ascari as it was dusk; couldn't see anything until I made the adjustment.
