If I have two PS3 can I remote race on one and actually play the game at the same time. Just wondering because I have 2 PS3 and was lookin gfor a way to get some b-spec money and Some a-spec grinding done. I though it might work because Bob's remote race money is saved to the driver and the information is stored online. Right?

Just set your Drivers online on PS3 #1 (they one you're gonna be playing on) and host races with PS3 #2. Make a different PSN for PS3 #2 and add people as your friends to fill up the slots for the races (including yourself).

You can only log on to your PSN account from one PS3. If you do remote B spec on one PS3, you can do A spec from the other PS3 if you don't log on to PSN. You would need 2 copies of GT5.

This, plus my addition. Good call 👍

Just have one ps3 with 2 or more PSN accounts with one of the accounts hosting a race for all the shared drivers of your other accounts (6 drivers per account) and just keep it going by switching over to start a new event.

You will need 2 copies of the game if you want to host races on one machine and play A spec on a 2nd machine.

Will I be able to get the money bob earns to my PS3 that I do A spec on?

Yes, go to Drivers, select a driver to get the pop up and you can either hit 'retrieve rewards' or take them off line (un-share with friends) to retrieve your cash.

I would rather put the money I'd use to buy a second PS3 towards a new HDTV or something more useful. Realistically, you won't get much more than 1,000,000 Cr. per day using the Remote Race. Is it really worth it?

Depends on your ends (motives).

I was under the assumption the OP already has 2 PS3s, 2 TVs and 2 copies of GT5 running on 2 PSN accounts. (I think the PS3 is capable of doing things other than running GT5, I just can't remember what exactly those other things are)

Higher level Bobs have an 'easier' time winning B-Spec events
  • 1,000,000 credits will give you over a million XP - enough to jump B-Spec from level 0 to level 26.
  • That opens up a lot of events if you are after the prize cars.

10,000,000 XP is good enough to get you the prize for reaching B-Spec level 35.

  • If you mix in some B-Spec events with some remote racing, then 10,000,000 XP in 9.5 days is do-able, but whats the rush?

From a credit/minute perspective, remote racing might not be the best option, but it is better than nothing while you are busy doing something else.

IIRC it only does everything.

I have 3 accounts and host with one for my other two plus a friends'. Add one autogrinder widget and the credits and XP roll in all day (and night) long.
