Hi, awesome site and all, just had a few questions. 1) why cant I sell anything in the trading post in the rumble strip, 2) can I get rid of any points I have? GTPlanet is a whole lot different to any other website I use and it took me a while to finally get it. Anyway, do the points ever expire?
 
In order to sell things in the Trading Post, you need to be a Premium member. In order to become Premium, you'll have to purchase a subscription to the forums.

Infraction points can be removed under certain circumstances. For one, a moderator can issuing an expiring infraction, in which the points will be cleared from your profile after a set period of time, though there will be a note left to say that you had them. Infractions and warnings can also be repealed if there is a conflict of interests; say, for example, I tell you to do one thing and another moderator tells you to do something else and you get points for ignoring moderator directions - they can be repealed because one set of directions contradicted the other.

Looking at your profile, however, all of the points you have been issued are permanent. They do not automatically expire, and they cannot be taken away for good behaviour. However, if you manage to go for an extended period of time without incurring any infractions, then future infractions may receive a lighter penalty. You may get a temporary ban instead of a permament one, or you may get less points added to your profile. However, I cannot say how long you would have to stay out of trouble before moderators might consider shorter bans or lighter penalties. A lot of that will come down to the offending post and the moderator who finds it. In short, stick to the Acceptable Use Policy at all times and in all areas of the forums (the actual forum, the chat room, private messaging, etc.) and you'll stay out of trouble.

If you need to ask because you can't find out how many you have, you don't have any. If you have some, it's obvious.
 
Yeah. If you get some, you'll know about it - the system automatically sends a message to you if a moderator issues a warning or an infraction.
