2 quick questions

Hey guys, just 2 quick questions hoping you photo enthusiasts could help me.

1) what does AE Lock do? Doesnt seem to make any difference when I use it. Manual doesnt seem to mention it.

2) I have a 4gb HP flashdrive in my ps3. When I save my GT5 photos to the XMB gallery, and then try to copy those photos onto my flashdrive so I could get it onto my PC, it says "Flashdrive locked". It's not locked, it doesnt have a lock feature. I tried messing around with options and everything, but there are no options for this. That I could find anyway. Is this just PD's way or PS3's way of saying, buy our printer?

It locks the exposure. For example: You "look" at the ground, the automatic exposure makes everything brighter, then "look" in the sky and it will go darker. Now look at the ground, wait until it gets brighter and lock it. The image will stay this way now, never mind where you look.

No idea about the second thing.

Ok, well for example, how would you get the pictures you take in GT5, out of your PS3, and onto your PC?

Another way to go about it is through the photo gallery on the XMB. In there is an upload feature, which if you have a Google account you can use to get your photo's into Picasa web albums from which you can easily share them from Image shack

Picasa doesn't allow 1920x1080 though, it will resize the images. I use the german upload site www.abload.de it allows you to upload 20 pictures at once (when you use the normal uploader without Flash) straight from the PS3. If you are a registered member, you can store all your pictures in a gallery (see my signature).

My old memory stick wouldn't let me copy to it either. I think the PS3 just didnt like it. I tried everything and the memory stick didn't have a lock feature, it also worked on everything else of mine. All I can suggest is to use a different storage device, that's if you have one of course :)

Great idea. Just have to figure out how to register on a german website. Don't really read german, shiezer :sick:
