As the title says I have two questions

which cars are fast and fuel efficent?

I already know just about all the lightweight cars are fuel efficent and range from slow to fast, for example the Caterham can the Ascari endurance event without pitting.

What unorthadox cars can win the 24 mins at nurburgring?

I have seen that somebody one this event in Honda insight, what other unorthodox cars can win this event?

Toyota 7 and Peugeot 905 are both fast an fuell efficent. 650+ pp
Toyota TS030 and Peugeot 908 for 600-650 pp
Rocket and Caterham are the best choice for street cars.
Those are the first to come on my mind.
