I know these have been addressed before in previous versions of the game. I did a search after getting my hands slapped on another thread...Sorry about that MODS!
Fistly can you turn of the suggested gear Indicator? I try to use markers as much as possible but think im actually timing my braking to the flashing gear indicator sometimes. Im trying to drive as realistically as possible since this is a simulator? This is cheating I think on the same level as using the Racing Line or any of the Driving aids. I did use the racing line at first on new tracks dont get me wrong. I wanted an Idea of the track. Once its turned off though I think the suggested gear Indicator should go with it?
Second issue kinda defeats the first...but lack of detail for markers? Does anyone else feel that the detail has gone? Ok so its in 3d....I dont have a 3d TV yet but in prologue (and previous) there were millions of markers depending how fast you were driving and how good your brakes were. The change in tarmac colour, a small pothole looking thing on one side of the track. A man with a bright coloured T shirt in the crowd (since the crowd was static I used him). A bit of past rubber on the track. An advertising hoarding......LOAD's more.
Even when there are markers they dont come into view till very late (Distance markers etc). Its like me driving in real life without my specs on!
