which do u prefer to drift with???? 200* or 900* mode???

Do you mean some kind of car or the racing wheel? If I had it :nervous: I would definetly use the 200* MODE that way I wouldn't need to turn so much. The 900* MODE would take alot of movement to turn a little turn :scared: . lol

Was very doubtfull of 900 degree mode drifting at first but i seem to be picking it up fast now and seems fairly natural. Id like to be able to stick with it for the challenge at least. Not experienced enough yet with both modes to decide, still need to evaluate all their advantages/disadvantages.

i know how u feel..the 900 is great except for those times when no matte rhow fast u spin it it just are getting to where u need it.. ive only been drifting for 3 days but ive improved alot..mostly work on tsukubu..i love the turns and line options on that track... still trying to figure out countersteering though..just wanted to see if more people used 200 to drift or 900..

I use 900* mode. I'm not great at drifting and the 900* mode is still relatively new to me, but it's a lot of fun to take some laps around Trial Mountain and practice techniques.

The only setting that I'd recommend if you use 900* mode is the power assistance on the wheel. Without it the force feedback holds you back from straightening out the wheel quickly.

The 900 Degree Mode gives you so much control over the car, I can't even imagine the 200 degre...while drifting. I tried the 200 degree mode for grip racing and it's waaaaaay to jittery, seriously, you can barely control the cars center of gravity (laterally, at least).
All I can say is stick with 900 for now, and if you don't like it, try out the 200, because it's pretty damn hard in my opinion :sly:.

200 is a joke. use 900 degrees. it's what the game was designed for.

also, putting multiple question marks won't make anyone answer your question faster, or make your question any more important.

I haven't read the manual for it yet, but I was just wondering how you turn this off?

I can not seem to use the wheel drifting I prefer the controller, but I know with the 200Degree it would seem to be easier due to less movement

I tried drifting with 900 degrees, but I jsut can't do it, so I just set it to 200 degrees and then I can drift fine.

People should specify whether they are using 200° mode, 900° mode, or the Dual shock.

I personally have the most respect for those who use the 900 mode for drifting.

Not to mention, you can't grip without it.

I just wish you could calibrate it..

Like, to 360 or 540 degrees max or something.

That would make drifting far more enjoyable.

Yes, I agree slurp. Besides, real life drivers have the option of changing their steering response ratio. Im not gonna give up though, ill get it down even if i have to use 1080* mode! :P

where is the option to set the DFP as 200degrees?

I just figured out, they said it was select+R3+right paddle(that means that little button on the back of the wheel, I made a mistake thinking it was the right PEDAL:rolleyes:)

900* all the way... yeah it's tough to be able to drift but it's possible... it took me at least a day to be able to drift 75% of the time. i found out though in the options menu you can change the setting of the steering... by default i think it on power assisted... i put it to simulation. i found it easier to drift with this setting.

i think it's really fun to spin that wheel quick to keep on track. makes you feel like Tsuchiya tearing up his Hachiroku
