well i went to the toronto auto show today, and had alot of fun, alot of good cars, and a good exhibit all around, some noteable cars:
Mitsubishi Eclipse:
unfortunately not available in canada, the eclipse is very nice, it just looks good... really good. it has a good interior, lots of trunk space, its roomy, comfortable, and just screams sporting.
Hyundai Tiburon:
much like the eclipse, only cheaper. the tiburon is very nice this year, a much improved car, lots of room, i pretty much have the same to say about this car as the eclipse.
Honda Civic SiR:
nice nice nice, the funny shifter is funny, its got room, and VERY supportive racing seats, well, they feel like racing seats.
Cadillac Escalade EXT:
this thing is just plain loaded. nuff said.
Cadillac in general:
just plain loaded. nuff said.
Dissapointments:
Dodge Ram:
the new ram has a new restyle and some new engines, but the interior really sucks, little room in the back, crappy seats, crappy leather (if its even leather) seats, and just a crappy interior.
Dodge Razor, and other concepts:
either weren't there or havent been unveiled for the toronto show yet, the crossfire was there though, among others.
Neat side show:
the sport compact showing had some nice rice, not that rice is bad, these people do a really good job on their cars, and the ones there were really nice.
so overall a good show, but i didnt get to see the concepts i wanted to see. the RX-8 was there though, and it looked sweet, it was on a big turntable with the new 6 and the miata.
good show overall.
GM was very good too, especialy the trucks and the trans am.
edit: i need to stop living in the past.
