i acutally agree with you, its a fairly nice looking car but lord they could put at least a 'stanger V-8 in it. the inside is alittle to flashy for me though, i cant deal with wood and stuff........

Yeah, the 'stangs were one of the most entertaining groups of cars to watch on the track at the recent AutoX. Lots of drifting...eheh

Lots of drifting? I think that might be EXACTLY why I have problems with 'stangs then; I'm a grip-guy myself.

And besides, it was just my opinion, backed by many years of seeing Mustangs be among the first ones in trouble come bad weather. OTOH, I've been known to drive in weather that scares the snowplows :p

Unfortunately, I have to admit that they are coming around. Maybe in a couple more model years, I might like Mustangs for once. Until then....

i'd put my own funds on the Boxster S ........mid-engine baby and one flawless car .....but that's just me......bit out of the price range too........maybe she'd consider a 90ish Porsche 944 Convertible ........they can easily be picked up for under $30K (Cdn.)

i don't know......i'd seriously consider the autotrader (buy used)..... it's a way better value to pick up a car that is a few years old........even if i were to buy a Boxster S, i wouldn't head down to Downtown Fine Cars (Porsche/Audi Dealership) .....i'd look for a used one .......likewise, you should check out used Mustang convertibles and perhaps BMW 328 cabriolets ;)

I do love the boxter S, :D the only reservation aside from the purchase price, is the maintenance costs. German engineering is great, but at a pretty hefty cost. I do have 4 kids that would like to go to college. I will consider a normal boxter a couple of years old. The only problem is who sells a boxter, from what I hear everyone who owns one, loves it too much to part with it. I have seen a couple of used ones for sale both of which were gone right after the add hit the shelves.

Definitely more important than any car...;)

Could you tell us your price range? Like say, $20,000-$30,000... If you told us your price range that could help us out a lot. If not, that's fine...:D Or if you want to, PM me your price range, zip code, and specific car models that you're interested in, and I can give you links with exact matches that are located near your hometown.

Don't forget Josh that we're above the border and our dollar is only worth about 64 cents American money ..........which means if hemi's looking for a $30,000 car here then that's less than $20,000 in the States.......you probably already knew that though

my parents didn't contribute anything to my first year of university and i payed for it all myself from working part-time in high-school

My price range will probably be based on a monthly payment more than a sticker price at this point in time. At present we have a Dodge Caravan we leased for $412.00/ month. I would like to stay under $600.00/ month if possible, but who knows how things will look in a couple of months? Maybe the lottery gods will smile down on me :D, if so, screw the Boxter we're getting a 911. :rotfl:

The Mustang GT is sweet. (I obviously own one) Great performance to cost ratio. few upgrades and money still to drive it like you rented it.
Rear seat isn't much, but it has one. Maybe a Boxter in my future, but for now, one of the only true american rear wheel drive muscle cars left.

Drop the top and let her rip.
DD ;)
