Round #6. Track --> Soul Central City.

Here are the complete settings for the Round:

The results screen that pops up right after finish dissapears quite fast, so be ready to save it...(take photo & such).

You have one (1) week to submit your time to me (PM). From this Monday to next Sunday (14/8).

Well I ran some hotlaps today as this is my first time really racing here, did some laps on RSS's and then for better practice on RM/RS's. Got the rhythm down quickly and for my first race (I may as well post as our moderator is asleep...lol) I got a fast lap of :54.003 with the AI at +6 on RM/RS's pitting once on lap 15 and a top speed of 280, pretty solid race but had some little bumps here and there. I went immediately after saving the replay and got my fastest lap down to 53.811 again with the AI at +6 and a top speed of 280 on RM/RS's. I dunno if I'll try to beat this race as it went great, for me atleast. I also trimmed about 5 seconds with my second attempt.

Two races done,one pit stop.
Only I know it can faster so I hope I can push myself to do some more races.


It was not planned to do all the races but I'm glad I did.

INDEED! 👍 This truly is a Great Series & I'd like to see it continue on to another 6 tracks or so! (I KNOW Hosting these things can be a bit of a hassle...but JMS RACING is doing a fantastic job! :cheers: )

Just now ran a "Super Clean" race so I'd have a "Base" save. I know there's plenty of time to be found by challenging the walls a bit more. Thirty Laps here does give you MORE than ample opportuninty to "Screw Up" however. :eek: All laps except #1 & the Pit in/out laps sub 56 seconds. Fast Lap 54.831 on Lap #28...O.G. :D
 
UPDATE: I must run a VERY Conservative "Line" here! :trouble: I just ran it again & thought I was really "Pushing" it but I STILL didn't even come close to kissing a wall! :eek:
The "Good News" is that THANX to a tuning tip provided by sjaak68 I found a BUNCH of time! 👍 Nearly all Laps were in the 54.4xx area with a best of 53.960 on Lap #27. Sure takes me a long time to find my rhythm! :irked:...O.G. :D
 
It looks like it's going to be a good race O.G. I ran a couple of races yesterday with I believe only 2 AI (and no wall) contacts. All my laps (except start and pits) were 53-54 second range. The fastest being 53.573. This is also my first time running on this course. It's going to be one hell of a season ending.
 
All I could do was a 54.0.

I surrender and take some pills now.

I don't know what it is, but it seems like this course came natural to me. I still feel I can take another 5-10 seconds off. I guess we'll see this saturday.
 
Had another run today. I think this is it for me though. Shaved off 7 seconds.

Fastest lap: 0:53.049

had to runs to cap off my sunday nite.... both one stop stratagys with RM, RS's..... managed a best lap of 53.011, but i have seen 52.704 in practice... good luck to all, eager to see the results, hoping for a championship
 
Great series guys, I loved the length of time just 6 weeks was perfect. And of course I love my Merc ;). One win at the Ring, that was cool, and man I tried that race 5 times before I got it just right. And finished JUST above Jeremy, great comp there. Good times, congrats to ls2, nicely done mate.

Very good racing guys. I really enjoyed it JMS. Congrats to ls2_297 (my teammate) for winning the season with JMS and Jerome beating me to 2nd and 3rd. I'm looking forward to doing this again. 👍
 
great season... great racing all you blokes, really enjoyed the races in which i could race, and am actually suprised how well i went. Special mention to JMS for setting up the series, top stuff mate 👍 Looking forward to defending my title next DTM season.. cheers all
