It's a shame that the season is almost over. I'm having a blast. We should have a season where we do ALL the tracks. :D

Another BRILLIANT Combo JMS RACING!!! 👍
I'm sure we'll all be Master Weavers when this week is over after traversing the "Esses" 20 times per Race! Got one race saved...gonna go try a different Pit Strategy...O.G. :D

EDIT: Plan "B" a dismal failure :dunce:...back to Plan "A" :sly:

You know Jeremy as much as I would like to do each track, I wanna start the American Muscle Car Championship that is starting pretty much right after this gets over. 20 at Suzuka, good thing I did the WRS with the Nissan here we have a good start on things.

I'm trying to figure out a pit stragedy but I keep spinning out (I think I'm pushing to hard). Does anybody have one yet?

Hiya bleurabbit7:
I've tried both a ONE Pit & TWO Pit strategy & for ME at least the TWO Pit worked much better! 👍 ..O.G. :D

Were they mediums? How long do they last, both mediums and softs?

I run two different "Combos." Depending on how hard I'm pushing it...I get 5-6 Laps out of the "Softer" set-up & 8-9 Laps from the "Harder" one. Hope this helps 👍 ...O.G. :D

Cool. Thanks O.G. I'll give it a shot today.

Hey bleurabbit7:
If interest doesn't pick up soon it may be just You & Me on the Podium this round! Just ran it again & got my best lap so far @ 1'56.187...I'd sure like to get in the 1'55s!!! ...O.G. :D

Alrigth enough conspiracy here, although I have yet to race this one...sshhh.....don't tell my teammate....lol. I am hoping I'll have some time Friday and Sunday to race it, but I think O.G. has it right about the tire length. So far I think its gonna be hard to find a good pit schedule here. I think I have it set up in my mind on how I MIGHT do it, but when I actually do it I'll ley u guys know. But so far I think I'm gonna start on RM/RS's for the first 5 laps or so then go to RH/RM. So I'm thinking from there I'll have to pit two more times, on like 12 and 18 then for the last two laps go RS/RSS's and see if I can squeeze two 'hotlaps' in. Or else I could just be off my rocker and really loose too much time in the pits and have to put on RH/RM for the whole thing and maybe softer for the last laps. It seems to me that 20 laps is a hard one to get a schedule down; for 10 its like RM/RS then pitn one and go RH/RM or close to it and you are only pitting once for 10 laps not bad, we'll see.

INDEED! 👍
IMHO
"Pit Stategy" will be as/more important than actual driving this week! :scared:
THANX JMS RACING! ...O.G. :D

Learning the track whole week now and did two races.

First-All mediums-pit-7-14

second-hard for 8 laps and two x 6 laps medium.
(soft for the rear)
Speed 180
Best lap 1'58.3

Absolutely not satisfied with the times, far to many mistakes.

But it is so much fun.👍

(BTW when my time is on the result page, please don't laugh to hard)

You won't have to worry about that at all so long as its your best we all respect that.

Well I just did my first race and I can see trimming about 5 seconds or so, but I really only had 2 very slight minor errors. The first I lightly tapped (not being sarcastic) the AI once, and the other I went off my driving line for about 3 turns. I think I could have taken the quick left after the last T a little faster each lap, but then again I never messed it up once in 20 laps so I think this will be my final time. :) I know that the previous WRS 10 lap race we had a while back REALLY HELPED HERE! :sly: . Here's what I had going on for the race:

Fastest Lap - 1:56.736
Top Speed - 280
First 5 laps - RM/RS
Rest of the Race - RH/RM
Pit on laps 5 (at the end of) and 13 (at the end of). Now I debated on pitting on lap 12 as it might seem to make more sense, but then I thought if I didn't wear my tires down as far at the end of the race I can finish STRONG and have less of a chance of wiping out.

I haven't ran the full race yet. I going out of town this weekend and I won't have my cockpit. I'm hoping to get back a little early on sunday so I can do the race.

Finally,a race without huge mistakes.

Pitted at 6 and 12 (both stints with medium) and took for the last 8 laps hard.

JMS,now the serie is coming to a end what about a continue in the near future.
I want to race the TT and perhaps with a handicap(extra\less weight) system it is even more interesting.
Or take a different DTM car for each race so we can race with all these great cars.
The concept of DTM,arcade,30\40 min. racing and tire wear is pure fun.

Hello ALL! 👍
Hope everyone enjoyed this Week's Race as much as I did! My DFPro is "Acting Up" again (the Pedals actually) so I may not get another attempt in. Time submitted...see you all next week...O.G. :D

Time submitted. I sucked this week. Just couldn't get it together.

Fastest lap was 1:57.5xx

Shoot Jeremy, I only ran the race once because this weekend I HAD to up to a lan meeting up at Bobkarts from gttimes.com. It was awesome, but then again I wish I had run it once more.

I myself only ran it once. I would have loved to have gone to that LAN meeting. But being on the Gulf Coast, it's a little to far for me.

Well I ran some hotlaps today as this is my first time really racing here, did some laps on RSS's and then for better practice on RM/RS's. Got the rhythm down quickly and for my first race (I may as well post as our moderator is asleep...lol) I got a fast lap of :54.003 with the AI at +6 on RM/RS's pitting once on lap 15 and a top speed of 280, pretty solid race but had some little bumps here and there. I went immediately after saving the replay and got my fastest lap down to 53.811 again with the AI at +6 and a top speed of 280 on RM/RS's. I'll copy this post into the correct one later, I just didn't want to forget to do it later. I dunno if I'll try to beat this race as it went great, for me atleast. I also trimmed about 5 seconds with my second attempt.
