How can they give you an acceleratoin and top speed figures without a 1/4 Mile time?

Top speed doesn't break 200mph :(, but the speedometer goes up to 225mph. Is there GT/challenge potential? The back looks 550 and the front 360. Couldn't they try something abit different again?

they should consider calling it the "enzo modena"

Ah, I didn't see that. Meh, the F430 look's more like a chop in those pictures.

They're the same exact pictures... :dunce:

I realize that, but I was talking about the pictures.

Does it have a full name like F430 Modena? Or is it just "F430"? Speaking of which... what's the deal with Ferrari using the "F", dropping it, then using it again? 348, F355, 360 Modena, now F430? How about some consistancy on this, Ferrari?

Oh... It looks good, btw.

It looks pretty, but I'm not to sure about the back end, it looks too much like an Enzo.

Extremely strong potential. One will be released within a year, I'm betting. Ferrari is enjoying the HUGE success of the 360CS, they will for sure make an edgier more raw model of the 430.

The car industry is looking good, with all of the GT3RS's, M400's, 360CS's and everything in between... We're finally seeing the core sports cars that were eclipsed by coushy leather and all the fancy electronic programs for all of these years.

It looks very nice, but it's going to be obscenely overpriced. No one should ever consider buying it.

IS ferrari gonna start using one cars design for the rest of their cars now... Cause then Ferrari would suck.

They don't have a choice. You may notice almost every modern-day Ferrari gets design cues from previous models. Each has its own. Now with the 360 Modena was something new. that is why you see the 430 taking many many cues from that model. Where to get the rest? Well, the flagship car of course (Enzo). It's called brand identity. Take any Ferrari ever, remove the badging and you will KNOW it is a Ferrari somehow. I didn't see any Enzo in the 612 though (?).

I think someone needs to hire some less narrow minded designers.....
just my opinion

Who does?

I think the 612 is going to be the base model for 2+2's to come.

I didn't see nay Enzo, but I saw 360... I also saw some early models somewhere in there....

What about BMW? All of there cars look alike. The grills are all the same. Porsches all look alike. You can't have one Ferrari looking like a lamborghini and then one looking like an Aveo...

The rear lights are taken from the Enzo's styling.

I was talking about the scaglietti. If you couldn't see the Enzo Influence in the taillights, I might as well come of to your house and pund on your head with a tack hammer.

Leave my head alone :p your right then theres no Enzo in the 612, but there is in the F430's tail lights.

I'll give a pie to the person who finds the Ferrari that the 612 is designed after.

It's brand identity! All VW's look the same, all Audi's look the same, all Alfas look the same. It's quite possibly almost the same thing for every company that makes more than 2 products! Apple's products hold some similar design cues, same with Sony etc. It's marketing. Something drives by on the road, they WANT you to know what it is without reading the little emblem.

^Yep. Except I call it 'brand imaging' :D

Hey, looks like the redline's higher 👍

Can anyone chop this to have Stradale wheels on it?

First of all, the shots of the front and the back really aren't real. That is for sure. The quality is too faux to seem like and actual photograph (esp. on the front).

All in all, this car really looks ugly. The intakes on the hind shoulders are positively uuuuuuuglay!!! In general, the design seems confused and all over the place. The original Modena was a nice shape, smooth lines everywhere. This lump is just random everywhere.

What hapened to Pininfarina designing desirable cars?

It's an exceptionally beautiful vehicle. Like most all Ferraris. It's just too bad that none of them can compete with theire competitors. Well, unless money isn't an issue. And then they still lose.

The 360CS was aweful close though, too bad cars that cost over a hundred thousand less took it apart.

Uhhhh, some of you think it's "ugly" ...Ok, whatever you say *walks away*

I think its quite lovely looking; one of the best designs since the 288 GTO. And by all means don't get on the performance, 90hb more than the 360, and 100 more horespower over its' derived Maseratti engien; improved F1 programing, and performance to match Lamborghini rather than Porsche 911 (well, on paper at least).

If I'm not mistaken, this is kind of over the leage of Porsche *cough*500hp*cough*.

It had better be over Porsche's league. It's price certainly is going to be.

Yeah, well considering that the 360 was competing against 911, and to think that the 348 was 300 hp. Hehe, silly Ferrari.

Ferrari may be expensive, but its not like there for majore profites. If they where, they wouldn't limit production.
