That minivan should be powered by the 4.6-liter V8 from the Mustang GT...

Looks too much like a RangeRover to me.

And look, another Ford revival...even if not completely.

WTF......Nice to see 'em steal their own name.......

  🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 :irked: :irked: 👎 :grumpy: they took a legend and pissed on it! Not only is it blasphemy to turn the fairlane into a crossover, they made it totally hideous. I was hoping for the revival of the THunderbolt, but instead I got a soccer mom mobile.

Ford owns Land Rover. Maybe that would be a better manufacturer for this thing? The press release doesn't give a good idea of market positioning.
Anyway, using the Fairline name isn't a good idea.

Might as well rename the next Ranger the Tempo  👎

That thing is NOT a Fairlane. Way to go Ford :grumpy:

Is this suppose to go against the Element?

I love it, but why did they call it Fairlane?

Must have taken a lot of time to redesign a box.

They redesigned a car. not a box. If they redesignef this one, then it would be redesigning a box, but who would have a problem with that?

Oooooooookkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy.............. :odd:

When i think Fairlane the image of a Falcon comes to mind - not a Range Rover. o_O

👎

Looks like a giant Mini Cooper gone retarded.

:dopey: I guess it was to easy to think it was going to be an SUV with all these retro remakes Ford has been doing??

I think everyone should boycott this and buy the LR3 instead:D

How can the Fairlane go from muscle car to SUV? Doesn't make since; the least Ford could have done is not named it Fairlane. It's just like Dodge's 2006 Charger. (God I hope it doesn't look like it does now when it's released.) Why is it that companies think by naming their products after older, successful cars they will gain sales, when in reality they are taking a big dump on what was once a very nice car. (Not a piece of crap like the new ones.)

I know Ford own RangeRover..but still doesn't explain why they go using a RangeRover-ish design and sticking a Ford badge and name on it.

Everything but the back looks RangeRover to me. And the back looks retarded.

The new Fairlane is just an Americanised, rebadged Land Rover Discovery 3

Correct me if i'm wrong but i was under the assumption that Range Rover was a brand of car from Land Rover.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 90% sure Range Rover is the model name of a Land Rover car SUV.

It's a colossal MINI!

I've been ok with previous remakes, but this is dumb. Simply dumb.
