I know it's not even Christmas yet but, thinking ahead, what are your top 3 (if you have 3) resolutions for the coming year?

Mine are:
-- to set aside more time for GCSE coursework
-- spend time away from my PC and instead with my parents
-- raise my fitness levels ( hey, I'm a sportsman :dopey: )

Do continue...

1. Quit smoking cigarettes
2. Cut down on smoking marijuana (only on weekends as opposed to every single day)
3. Bring up my grades at school (numbers 2 and 3 go hand in hand)

1. Better my study habits (college is coming in August)
2. Get an A in AP Calculus (not gonna happen)
3. Work out
4. Stop downloading illegal things... :indiff:

These are the main ones...

1. Get sponsored for skating.
2. Keep my grades as high as they have been.
3. Try and see my girlfriend more often.

1. Study better
2. Exercise more
3. Insert Random Resolution here

Oh, I'm gonna add one: (I know I'm well past 3, but what can you do to stop me? :p)
5. Get a girlfriend!

I want to.... get better on my new blades...and beat someone up....and beat UG2(Yeah, Right) and hang with my friends. I can only jump off a 2 foot ledge. Then again.....Today was my second day of skating. :) :) :ouch: :ouch: :ouch: :indiff:

Stop playing the PS2 as much, do my homework more often, actually study, and get better than a 75% average.

1) Stop procrastinating.
2) Stop putting things off.
3) Stop waiting until the last minute.

I tried all three doing of these last year, but something always came up and I had to keep pushing it back.

Quit smoking
Spend more time with family
Learn to drive
Save money for a car
Get a gf
Eat healthier
Work out

Boy I wish I hadn't started now, this is gonna be a challange.

i) Bring my grades up a bit.
ii) Get into exellent physical shape
iii) In all honesty. Get laid for the first time.

Weeeeellllll....

1. Work more in school
2. Eat healthier
3. Uhh... Skateboard... yeah.

1) Save up a deposit for a house.
2) Sell my car, and buy something more economical
3) To find a new job

Oh c'mon guys. I don't think getting a girlfriend is really a resolution, most New Years Resolutions are to better ones self. Although this resolution isn't techincally wrong, MW.com defines resolution as "a formal expression of opinion, will, or intent voted by an official body or assembled group", its a little odd. Having that sort of a relationship is nice to have, but I doubt it'll make you a better person. However, I know how you guys feel. I didn't go on my first date till I was 17, and my first girlfriend till 18. But in all honesty, she hasn't made me any better of a person.

Anywho, a resolution I've been trying for a while is to stay away from the damn computer. It sucks up so much of time for stupid, worthless crap.

Also trying not to ****ing curse so goddamn much.

1) To not end up rushing GCSE coursework last minute. Kind of defeats the point of coursework.
2) Get fitter.
3) Train more for Karate and go to squad training.

1) Stop being too damn lazy with school work
2) Get a girlfriend (*Completely ignores Goomba's post* )
3) Continue to improve my physical fitness

This is actually the first time I've ever made new year's resolutions.

Buy a car. and get my liscense. get a girlfreind. Learn to skate. Beat Metroid Prime. Make more freinds. Learn to play Electric Guitar like the dude from Muse.

Goomba
But in all honesty, she hasn't made me any better of a person.
Wow. Tell her that! Then your New Years Resolution will be to get a new set of teeth.

In all honesty, I hate New Year's Resolutions. I'm more of a "take it as it comes" kind of guy, and it's always worked out. I could do better in school, but I'll wait until we go back and see what happens.

As for the girlfriend resolution. I don't think that should necessary be a resolution. What happens if it's December 2005 and you haven't got a girlfriend. What are you going to do? Grab the nearest female at gunpoint and demand she go out with you?

Girlfriends are more of a "find the right kind of person" thing, rather then a "go out and do it" thing.

Either way, I don't really care.

Well said, girlfriends are overrated anyway. I'm not single at the moment, but if I was, I wouldn't be in much of a hurry to find a girlfriend, it's nice to be single sometimes.

Plus, girls are a huge drain on your spare time and money :).

Although there are benefits...

Like majority of the people here...

Make better grades (not that great at the moment, not too bad either!)
Get in better shape (Im not FAT, im just a little overweight!) ;)
Try to take up reading... (NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!)

Last year I set a really easy one - Go to a Concert, and i did - The Offspring

This year, im gonna set them a little harder -

1. Buy a Car
2. Go to England
3. Get an Apprenticship.

:guilty:

1) Get a girlfriend, although that has certainly been beat to death.
2) Get a 4.0 for the rest of the school year
3) Spend more time with my friends
4) Learn how to ice-skate (Yeah, it's sad...)
5) Get a job that pays better than $6.50/hour

I guess there's more, but I don't feel like writing them all out.
