2 great races, the F1 and the FGT, both with drama and excitement, here are the results of the inaugaral Formula GT Bahrain Grand Prix.

A no show for Blake which has suprised many drivers, some fear he got locked in his caravan before the race while others think somehting came up just before the race stopping him from competing. Anyway, without further ado.

Very fast time by Driven USA followed by east and empty space, the 2 Arrows cars take 4th and 5th whilst Davidson F1 take 6th.

Congrats to Driven USA, East and Empty Space on their podium finishes. 👍

I have to say I was quite surprised I managed to beat The Internet by such a margin, he showed promise in testing. Ah blake yeah he was probably wooing the ladies too much and forgot about the race, that's my theory.

And the no-show from my team-mate is a bit of a strange one, hopefully he will be there for Malaysia this week.

OH!! I can't believe I won. Thought Casio had me for sure. Congrats to East and Empty Space for being on the podium w/ me here's champainge in your eyes "shakes and sprays vigurously" as the crowd cheers.

Ran 6 lap stints w/ 2 7 lap stints to keep from pitting that extra time, saved about 30 seconds that way. Fuel - 23 liters for the 6 lap runs and 27 for the 7 lap runs.

I finally got a chance to watch the F1 Bahrain GP I had saved. Very exciting race.

Before starting, I already knew Alonso wins, Super Aguri has issues and Villeneuve's engine explodes, but it was still intense to see Alonso come out of the pits just a hair in front of Schumacher after 40+ laps!

It was smart how Alonso was conservative with his tires, after the last pit stop, until he knew Schumacher was starting to push. Normally, in the last few laps, it's dangerous to be in 1st place. It's so easy for 2nd place to grab the draft and make a pass, right at the end, but Alonso was able to hold him off.
