It doesn't matter, they're business men it's their job to make it sound revolutionary and to get people talking about it. The bottom line is, it's still a good engine as is the LS7.

I completly agree--it's just the marketing bits that aren't true.
 
you also have to remember that traditionally, DOHC motors have been a little bereft in the torque dept. 465 is big balls. big huge ones.

and im pretty sure the 7200 rpm limit is well within the comfort zone of the engine. my old BMW has a 6400 rpm redline and ive had it a 7000 before. margin of safety.
this one couldnt overrev since its controlled by a computer. mine is controlled by my right foot. :D
