I have heard about something intriguing today. Someone in the area wants to sell his Fiat Panda. Now, suppose someone wants to buy this Panda as a first car, would it be a good idea? This particular Panda is the 2006 model, in black. The engine is the 1.1 unit, with 54hp. Now get this, this particular vehicle, with one owner since new, has covered just 8,000 miles. Supposing a potential buyer had a budget of £1,500 and the seller was willing to take that amount of money, would it be worth it? And if so, what would the new owner need to look out for in a vehicle of this type?

P.S. If this is in the wrong section, feel free to move it to the correct board.

Yes. Not much wrong can be with it if it has that little miles on it. Not sure if 1500 pounds is a realistic price but if you can get it at that then do it.

Agreed. I can't really see anything too bad with that, though I'd attempt to do a thorough history check on it since 1500 quid does seem very cheap for a car with mileage that low. I've recently been looking around at basically identical models at similar money and it's more typical for them to have 60k plus miles on them at that age.

Pandas are actually fairly sound. Mechanically not a lot goes wrong. They can have problems with the electric power steering but it's not an expensive fix.

Sounds good, and the low mileage is a plus, but still remember it is an 8 year old car. Some parts deteriorate with age, rubber parts for example.

Worth a look. Get a history report if you can.
