2006 Trailblazer SS

Well tonight a guy I worked with stopped by to show me his newest toy. It was a 2006 Trailblazer SS (M plates), no I didn't bother taking a picture. Anyways he took me for a ride in it an it was pretty fast, we were doing 0-60 in about 6 seconds which is decent for such a heavy truck. It rode pretty good too. The AWD and sports tires really held the wet roads we had today.

The ugly Trailblazer looks much better without that big roof rack, a lower stance, bigger wheels, and mesh grill. It's still ugly just not as bad as it grocery-getter-not-so-badass-self.

Overall I was impressed with the truck and I really want to drive one when I go back to work on Monday.

However I have this to say...err rather show.

This should have been the end of the Super GM SUV...

This really doesn't live up to the super SUV...

GM recreated the Typhoon using an Envoy, a turboed 4.2L I6 with AWD. Sign me up for the first one. But GM had to be stupid and slap that damn SS badge on it.

I'd still take a Sy or Ty anyday. It's not bad looking, My dad just bought a fully loaded Trailblazer LT, I will say it's a world more responsive than his I30 was.
