It's a little miniwebsite for the new Avensis, it looks much better then the one which drives around now. Nice changes to the interior as well as the new aloy wheels on it.

Although the page is in Dutch, I can understand it, below, you have 4 options to take a look at: Quality, D4-D engines, Drive fun and Photogallery.

On the image itself, there are "hotspots" were you can click on, this is to show what there's new on the Avensis.

The last one had some troubles but Toyota has already said this model should kick some ass again in it's category 👍

Personal opinion: I love it!

Yeah not bad... some nice improvements... looks a little sportier now.

Pretty neat diesels. Had a chance to drive one of those new D4Ds a few months ago... smooth bugger (160hp, around 400 NM of torque).

Unfortunately, the D4D fuel supply system is one of Toyota's weak points at the moment. There are widespread reports of problems with D4D fuel systems on less than pure diesel fuel (in other words, the common stuff).

It is interesting, I'll give it that. That one stretched my German language skills out just a bit, but overall I'd give it a solid B.

So is this like a big Camry Estate, or am I missing something?

Not true, this was the problem with the last model.

That's why Toyota decided to bring a new one next year 👍

It's a wait and see for me. Considering this system probably runs at a higher pressure than the current D4D, Toyota's got a lot to prove to win back market acceptance.

I do hope they bring it here, so I can try it out. :)

Looks like the Dodge Caliber to me.

Looks almost exactly the same as the one we've had over here for years. :snoresville:

For some reason all mid-sized Japanese saloons are practically invisible in Europe. They're not uncommon, but at the same time your head never gets turned by one. I guess they're just average cars, driven at average speeds, bought in average colours by average people. They just don't appear on your 'interesting car' radar.
