I had a friend message me about the '08 CTS on GMI and he informed me that the weight quotes I had were indeed wrong, and it was GM's fault. They somehow managed to put the Sigma I numbers there for the Sigma II, so we're looking at a weight increase to somewhere in the neighborhood of 3700-3800 lbs. Thanks for getting our hopes up GM...

Anyway, new photos of the CTS (in black, yay!) today:

...Still a very good-looking car. Especially in black. They need to get rid of the Silver option. The car needs color to look nice...

How come every time you link to images they don’t show up? :p

You know, I don't know. Lets try to fix this...

EDIT:

Tharr she be! Yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me!

...Still don't think orange/red looked that bad...

But Black, thus far, is the best.

I hate the awkward lines, and what is up with that grille? Both the front and rear end looks really busy to me, too.

Telling from the pics, I can't say I'm a fan. That could totally change, when I see it in person though, especially that grille.

P.S. It does look really good in the pic YSS just posted.

Thats still up in the air: If Lutz's claims that the CTS-V should be able to blow the doors off the M5 are correct, at the very least it will need the LS7. Otherwise, don't be surprised to see it roll out with the supercharged 6.2L LS9 from the new super-Corvette.

:yuck: I don't see why the facination with it.
Looks chunky, clumsy and unrefined.
BMW, Merc, Audi etc. doing a much better job IMO.

The US's best looking cars (to me anyway) always seem to be in the Muscle Car category: Shelby Cobra, Ford GT, Mustangs, Corvette etc.
