2009 Mazda 3 Spyshot, possibly?

I'm surprised this wasn't posted sooner since this car gets quite a bit of attention around these boards.

The current Mazda3 is proving pretty popular popular these days with sales up 28% so far in 2007. With new versions of the Mazda2 and Mazda6 having been unveiled already this year, the 3 looks to be the next in line for new skin. This photo that may or may not be authentic sure looks plausible. It features the prominent front fenders seen on other recent Mazda designs along with the swept back head lights and similar side glass shape to the current generation five-door 3. So far there's no indication of when we might see a new Mazda3, but if it does look like this it should build on the record of the current car.

Looks pretty good in my opinion.
 
Its a very good-looking concept/prototype, a well-done evolution of the current Mazda3. My only problem is that it makes the car look more expensive already, and while the Mazda3 really isn't that expensive to begin with, I wouldn't want it to "move up," particularly when the Focus already sucks so much here in the US anyway...
 
I've seen the pic and people on the Mazda boards seem to think it is a hoax but to me it looks quite legit. It carried some of the styling trends of the new 6 as well as the new 2. Also, its no secret that the current 3 is on its way out. Once Mazda puts out their speed version of a car, expect that body style to be around only a few more years.
