I know there are some others attending. I'll start it off though. From Friday January 29th. Fresh From Florida 200 and Rolex Practice.

The Rolex from my point of view.

Started Saturday before the race at the heritage exhibit, the cars later made laps around the tack at full pace, or rather fast pace.

After that it was autograph sessions, my girlfriend took the camera, I met more more drivers for autographs...

But she got to meet Patrick Dempsey like she wanted to.

On to the race.

#70 GT class winner.

I've got more, but nothing to holler about, I didn't take many pictures during the race. Here are some videos however.









Hope it's enjoyable, I had a good time being there, though I guess the atmosphere was not what I was hoping for. oh well.

Sweet pictures! 👍 I've yet to go this race, but last year I went to the Brumos Porsche 250 at this same track. It was a really bad ass experience as my first time attending a Grand Am race.

Weren't those RX8s loud as hell?!

Yes they were extremely loud. The Turner Motorsports M6 was the only thing that came close in volume but that was a loud burpy sound, the Mazda's are so high pitched. They spit flames out like nothing I've ever seen as well. When I was walking by the fence to get these videos, the #70 car passed, it was the most vocal RX8 out there, it really did hurt my ears, and none of the other cars besides the Mazda's were able to do that. The Sahlen's Rx8's were the calmest sounding ones, the Dempsey cars being in between. Crazy rotarys!
