So the respective seasons for these series are coming to close and the battles for the championships are going down to the wire for both classes.
In GP2 Romain Grosjean looks to be walking away with it, 18 points ahead of Giedo Van Der Garde, with Charles Pic 7 points behind him.

Its gets even closer in GP3, with five drivers in the running for the title. Been a very good season in GP3 this year. No driver has one two races and only one driver has been on pole twice - Mitch Evans. Melker lead the championship early on but a couple of non scoring weekends due to an accident and a subsequent penalty in Valencia meant he forfeited the lead to Evans. Who had a terrible run of luck in the next four races starting at Silverstone race 1 where it was wet, and he had to run on used wets because the new ones had not had their wheels balanced. Still managing to finish 12th he came through the field to fifth on the first lap of race two only to retire with an electrical issue. In Germany after qualifying on pole he was given a penalty for not having his wheels fitted at the three minute warning and subsequently finished 20th. Race 2 he got up to 12th on the first lap but then got a puncture after another driver hit him at the first corner.
