2011 New England Forest Rally (Mexico, Maine) Pictures

This was actually from about a month ago... My friends and I usually go up to northern Maine (more specifically Mexico, Maine...? Who would think it's near Peru, Maine too. :dunce: ) to watch the Maine stage of the Rally America races. We have gone last year and have been able to spot Ken Block and Travis Pastrana (back when he did rally... :grumpy: ) Here are pictures from the event and on the way to the event, took me quite a while to get the pictures together. I do admit, not all of them are that great, thanks to my rather cheap digital camera my parents got for me... :ouch: Don't really know all the names of the drivers, but some are local and the what they raced was interesting. Enjoy. :dopey:

That's one of the cool things about Rally, people use the strangest cars to race. Geo Metro and Ford Escape? :lol:
 
Car selection was a bit more interesting than last years, however... The runs were a lot more exciting and there was some more popular drivers. Amazing how large of a group Ken Block's followers were, this year, since he ran out of chassis's, there were far fewer spectators than last years.
